Located 500m from Faliraki beach, this family-run apartment hotel is not a bad choice for a base if you're an explorer or a budget traveler. But if you like to spend your time in the hotel, you should look for something better.

Rooms are average, small faults here and there, mostly clean. Forget about self-catering - the "kitchenette" is just to be there; you'll find no use of it (it's very poorly equipped). Beds are very good, but keep in mind they only have twin beds. Bathroom is OK, and view from the balcony is not bad.

Restraint is more like a snack bar. Food is ok, espresso sucks, no draft beer or fresh juices.
Pool is good -- clean, big and there is no crowd.

Overall, it's not bad (for 24eur/pp) -- owners are nice, cleaning is decent, but they need to put a little more effort to make it good.

During our first stay in Rhodes, and Faliraki, we stayed at Royal Rose for three weeks. I've never experienced such warmth and hospitality. The couple running the hotel is fantastic, always smiling and chatty. Even the smallest problems are taken care of with a smile, and everything is done with care.
The rooms are medium sized, and the kitchen area is quite small, but equipped enough to be used for breakfast and lunch. Room service every day, and a great pool area also needs to be mentioned. Would we go back? Yes, definitely! A stay here equals a great holiday!

After travelling around Greece and Turkey for a month this was by far the best hotel I stayed at. The staff, especially Viv and her mum just cant do enough for you, the location is perfect, away from all the noisy spots, but they are only 5-10 minutes walk away. The hotel itself has great rooms with lovely balconies at the front overlooking the very well kept swimming pool. As previous reviewers have said no music is played here so its nice and peaceful. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: If you are a light sleeper do not have rooms 305 or 306 on the top floor at the front. Granny has a...

Really enjoyed the stay and would come back. The hotel itself is away from the main road, so there is not much traffic or noise from passers by. There was also no music playing by the pool, so it was possible to get uninterrupted sleep at any time of the day or night. There is a supermarket across the street, so you will never run out of supplies. The room was a good size, with comfy beds with nice and firm mattresses - great for the back. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room and the hotel territory in general are clean and well looked after and the pool area is inviting. For sea lovers, it's only a short stroll away from the beach. The main street with various restaurants is also within easy reach. In short, if you are looking for affordable accommodation in Faliraki, look no further!

This was a nice hotel to stay at. It is close to the center without having much noticeable noise hinder, it is close to the beach and the supermarkets.
The staff was very friendly.
Nothing was too much for them and they helped us out almost the instance we asked for it. To give you an idea, the lady owner came out of the shower in a bath towel to help us with a minor issue in the room.
I think this is probably the best place in faliraki to stay price/quality wise.
