We chose the "all inclusive" option for this first stop on a two-centre holiday and were not disappointed. No, this is a not a 5* resort hotel, but to be honest I am not sure that there are many in Rhodes (but do check out the Atrium Prestige).

However, what you do get are very clean and very stylish rooms, a completely hassle free food and beverage experience, very friendly staff and an excellent location on the beach front.

We stayed in one of the suites on the top floor with a shared, private pool. The shared terrace and pool were a little lacking in character, but the main pool was what you would expect; a nice relaxed atmosphere and plenty of sunbeds to go around.

Food on the all inclusive (AI) deal was good, but not amazing. Plenty of variety across the board (but not much from day to day). The AI wine is barely drinkable (but I've yet to encounter an AI wine that doesn't taste like paint stripper) which is a shame. The other AI drinks are fairly limited, but probably not more than anywhere else (and not to the extent that it effected my enjoyment). The hotel doesn't really publicise the fact, but if you are AI then you can also drink next-door in the Apollo Beach (which seems to share the entertainment programme at certain times of the year). And wrist-bands??? Please, not at the rates you charge.

A few minor gripes. EUR15 for use of the spa is a bit over the top (although I think that most guests receive one free use). WiFi coverage is not amazing and is capped at 1 hour per day per device (so either take lots of different devices on invest in some software that can spoof a different MAC address). We had an afternoon of persistent rain and it would appear that that hotel don't possess any doormats, so they laid bath towels at each entrance. These are, as I say, minor issues which didn't really matter but do indicate that just a tiny bit of a change in mind-set would enhance the guest experience that little bit more.

If I stayed in Faliraki again then I would probably stay here.

Room Tip: It really did seem to be worth going for the sea-view rooms. Some of the others did seem to be a bit overlooked - particularly the ones on top of the spa.

That were wonderful holidays, relaxing and luxury! We were staying in junior suite with shared swimming pool. The room was spacious and very clean. Food was delicious. Staff was helpful, friendly and English speaking although there were majority of Germans and French. Some guests complained about mosquitoes, but we didn't see any, maybe because our room was on second floor. The location of the hotel is the best! It is right at the beach, the center of Faliraki with restaurants, bars, shops and other services is 3-5 minutes of walking. We rented a car at hotel reception, the price was the same as in the town and child safety seat was for free. Every evening there was some entertainment program.
The only minus that I can remember is a bed, which wasn't solid, but consisted of two parts.

I have been here since the opening in 2009 and since then the service and accomodation has been very good.Rooms are very clean and bathroom is big. Service at check in is quick, friendly and professional. Only minor is that if you have no all inclusive they will serve you the wine/limonade from all inclusive although they should give you the better wine and limonade from a bottle. Great swimming pools and entertainment.

We've decided to spent more bucks on a 5* holiday to indulge ourselves in some luxury. According to the sentido apollo blue website they offer early checkin and late checkout. Because of our travelscheme this was perfect. We arrived at the hotel on 11:00 am to find out that the room we booked (juniorsuite, seasideview and private swimmingpool shared with 10 other appartments) was not yet available. Pointing out to the services on their own website we found out that they don't offer that and they still needed to change the info on their website and for a late checkout you've to pay extra. The hotel does not really adhere to sentido rules! Because of the inconvenience we didn't have to pay extra for the late checkout.
Around 13:30 we could finally get to our temporary room until the next morning. The next day we were rudely told to leave the room at noon because new guests we're arriving. So we took our luggage again and waited in the lobby. At 13:00 we heard we could get to our 'own' room, to find out that this was not the room we booked (juniorsuite groundlevel near the main swimming pool) but we we're happy to finally unpack our bags and finally start our holiday 26 hours later.
This is definitely a management flaw and a case of poor frontdesk personnel who we're not really helpfull. We expected better service for an expensive 5* resort. We've seen many 4* resorts which offer better service and offer the services on their website.
For high season I would not recommend this hotel because mngt is not able to cope wih the high demand of tourists.
In addition to this they also offer only one hour of free wifi every day additional internettime is very expensive. Also a major drawback.
The variety of food offered in the restaurant is adequate and the quality is very good. But remember to sign your beverage bill in theevening otherwise personnel will remind you of this in the restaurant the next morning.

Positive aspects:
* Friendly restaurant staff
* Large room and bathroom (but a claustrofobic shower cabin)

Room Tip: Don't spend extra bucks for a room with shared swimmingpool or seaview. You might not get what you pay for.

We were two families of four (2 adults and 2 children each) to book our holidays since the month of April through a travel agency at the Sentido Apollo Blue. We had booked two exact junior suites with PRIVATE swimming pools. We had also specified to our agency that we would like to have rooms next to one another. After a years worth of work we were waiting with great anticipation for our holidays and had the highest expectations.

Upon arrival to the hotel we got told that we don't have rooms next to each other, that the agency had not left a note with them specifying such a demand...We also got told not to worry as our rooms are "very nice". It was even more disappointing to discover that not only were we not next to each other, but we were on the opposite ends of the hotel!!

The family with us got the room we had reserved "a junior suite with private pool" that has a sea view exactly as the description given by our travel agency and on the website (that came with a hefty price). Our family on the other hand got a suite with shared pool....to share with strangers...

Of course we called reception telling them that this is not the room we had reserved and that we would like to change. We were told that anyway they could not do anything about it now.

We did a little research and discovered that there was a difference of 700 euros in price between the room we had reserved and paid for and the one we were given. The next day we got up and asked to change rooms and get the room we had reserved. We were told that there were no free rooms. However when we went online to check we found that there was a room available.

We got in touch with our agency and it was only through them after a huge pressure from us and long dispute and us asking to leave that the manager (via phone) decided to give us the room that we had BOOKED and PAID for!!!

So that meant two nights for us in a suite that we hadn't reserved and that cost 200 euros less (total for the 2 nights) than what we had paid for. The management didn't excuse themselves, didn't provide any explanation, didn't seem concerned by our complaint from clients that had booked the most expensive package.

Unfortunately, this bad start left a sour taste and we wcame to the conclusion that even if you put a high price into a holiday expecting to get the service that goes along with it and peace of mind one still stumbles upon management that has absolutely no consideration for their clients.

Eventually we were nevertheless able to enjoy our holidays and the friendly staff in the F&B team.
