“We had a great time, this beach just gets better every year.”
Reviewed 19 June 2014

We have had two fantastic weeks on Rhodes every other day at this beach.
The atmosphere is so friendly and relaxed and the facilities just keep improving. The taverna on the beach provides very good food. Two toilet blocks and three sets of showers.

“Faliraki Beach”
Reviewed 18 June 2014

We are not full time beach users, we are pretty active, but I guess the beach has all you need. Pretty cramped at the hight of the season I imagine. Very efficient with the sun beds and umbrellas. Worth the 8 euros for 2 of you for the day. Frequent beach showers and toilets along the boardwalk. Easy access for pushchairs I should think.

“could be better”
Reviewed 9 June 2014

This is supposed to be the 'tourist' part of Rhodes so it is a little surprising that it appears lacking.
That said, one can still have a nice time here.
The beach in May/early June was not at all busy so should have been cleaner. The Watersports looked fun but seemed expensive to other locations /countries but that follows for just about everything one has to pay for in Greece these days.
It is sandy but in a gritty way but fairly flat which helps, though there are rocky parts that show just out in the water could be a problem.
Plenty of Bars/Tavernas all fringing the sand and walkway, most of which seemed to have at least a few customers most of the day and the busy part of the town only a short stroll inland.

“average beach”
Reviewed 8 June 2014

As told we expected a golden beach with a blue water. It wasn't, grey sand with lots of shingle would be still ok for us if we could have a nice swim. We couldn't enjoy that either though as there are lots of rocks in the water. However the nature is something we shouldn't change and respect it. But the dirtiness around... Oh dear people! Such a shame.
