We stayed at this hotel during August 2011 for a week. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean. Food was of a good quality. We had no trouble getting sunbeds most days. We decided not to hire a car because of the excellent, low-cost bus service around the island, which we could access directly outside the hotel.

Stayed here for 7 nights from 22nd October. Our stay was excellent. The facilities are top notch. All the staff are very friendly and cannot do enough to make your stay a pleasure. Everywhere was spotlessly clean all the time. The food was very good - the kebab type wraps at lunchtime were fantastic. Breakfast was a slight let down - dont get me wrong there was lots of choice, but somehow i couldnt find anything that really took my fancy. Perhaps it was a case of too much choice after an evening drinking loads of free cocktails! We stayed in a suite that had a seperated area for my daughter to sleep in. The room was great especially the sea view.

A couple of issues to be mentioned. Firstly the beds are way too firm and a couple of times i slept on the sofa bed. The tennis courts were an experience as well. Unfortunately they are located near the sewage processing or whatever and your game of tennis is accompanied by some rather unusual aromas. I must admit i always wet myself with laughter at the wife and daughter gagging as the wind changed direction and they got a faceful of pungent aromas. Needless to say it was a pretty quick game of tennis.

The mosquitos were a bit of an issue. My daughter had several nasty bites that reacted badly. I was bit a couple of times and the wife a few times as well.

Apart from the minor issues above this place is fantastic and i would recommend it to anyone. We dont normally return to places as we prefer to see new places on each holiday, but having said that this is the first place i would definitely return to at some point in the future.

Room Tip: Ask for a suite as you have the seprate room (and an extra complimentary bottle of wine)

Just spent half term at this hotel with my little girl. Fabulous time, lovely beach and hotel pool. Food gorgeous and varied. Staff really can't do enough for you. everyone from the pool guy to the chamber maids and the head waiter, just absolutely lovely. Very clean too. All drinks and all food, snacks and ice creams all available, all inclusive, all the time. Only grumble is that the beds were very, very hard. Would go again, though!

I have just returned from a week at this hotel with a friend. We went to totally relax for a week. We were there the last week of the season and a lot of the shops etc nearby had close already. As the week progressed we could see more and more areas of the hotel preparing for the winter shut down. However we still had a fantastic week, the staff were very friendly, the Hotel and rooms were spotless. There was always a good choice of food which was well cooked.
The british are in a minority in this hotel.
During the day there was plenty of sporting activities if you wanted to join in, we prefered to stay on the beach. The evening entertainment was limited but I put this down to it being the end of the season.
We are considering booking again next year.
My only critisms would be that the beds are very hard and the towels too smal.

Room Tip: Ask for a Sea View, we didnt and had a few of road which could be noisy

We went to hotel Calypso on our honeymoon last week, It was fantastic!! The staff here are amazing, nothing is too much trouble for them. If you have children with you they will be spolit as our little girl was!
The hotel is right on the beach which also has free sunbeds (hotel calypso only) the free use of pedalos aswell. The rooms are spacious and cleaned everyday. The hotel in our opinion was very clean and very modern.
The only downfall for us was that there weren't many english people here. This normally wouldnt bother us but our 6 year old daughter didnt really have anybody to play with.
The hotel isn't to far away from the airport either so you wont be sitting on a bus for hours (20mins away)
You can walk up the beach into Faliraki (which was also quite nice as we were out of the 18-30 season)..
The beach and pool area were also fab! Wished we could have stayed for longer.
We would definately return here in the future
