Wow, been rading all the reveiws and some have got me quite shocked.... about being served by 12 year olds! well to be fair i think its great they are getting them to work because it will help them in life, its like a life long lesson. The rooms get cleaned everyday apart from sunday. The cleaners work especially hard on this hotel, aswell as the family. The kids work hard as do the adults. If you go all inclusive you dont have a set selection you can pick a varaitey. You have a mini supermarket in the hotel. You have a seperate pool for kids with a little slide and a slightly larger pool for the older ones. Theres also a multi sports area and next to that is a childrens play park. Theres no struggle getting sun beds as there are a lot of sunbeds. The rooms are a nice fair size and they have a small kitchen area and a decent size bathroom. If your 18 or over and a party personthen i would say go here because its 15 minutes walk from the hotel to bar street and 20 minutes walk to club street. The hotel is a nice family hotel ad they make you feel like yor part of their family. You get a nice sized balcony with a table and chairs. Yes this hotel is small and its ran by a family but its a nice hotel for a holiday with some amazing veiws. Hope this helps.

Ignore the very good reviews people have given to this hotel. If you are over 18 and you are looking for a decent hotel then definitely avoid this one. The rooms and especially the bathrooms are very dirty and everything has an eighties feel. Nobody seems to clean the rooms and even the dirty towels are just folded and put back to their place....

Wow, what a holiday! Thoroughly depressed to be home! I would recommend this hotel to anyone - young and old/ couples/ families. It's a very sociable and friendly hotel and the gossip was better than Coronation Street!

The family running the hotel are lovely, friendly and very welcoming, so a big thank you to you all for making our holiday amazing! Takis does an incredible job and never sleeps! As does Taz at the pool bar, cooking a delicious full English every morning (when we made it to breakfast!) and Tony in the restaurant. We fell in love with the kids (especially Stergos and Seva) they are so cute and adorable, and always smiling. Also, a special thanks to Aaron for getting us suitably hammered every night! (and for providing me with gallons of water in an attempt to sober me up!) The bar wouldn't be the same without him...!

Ignore the negative reviews. Yes the rooms are basic but they do the job - you don't go on holiday to sit in your room! Our shower was like a jet wash but it only amused us. We hired a fan for 15 euros a week, instead of paying 35 for air con, which was pretty effective and a must in August! The pool area is really good - good sized pool, clean and sociable. Getting a sunbed is no problem, even at 2 in the afternoon which is when I made it down most days!

I recommend all inclusive. We definitely got our money's worth in alcohol! The food options are limited but there was always something we liked, and I'm not a fussy eater so it wasn't a problem. It was nice to have a full English every day (or you can opt for Continental if you prefer...)

This 'big hill' that people complain about is about 10m long...hardly Mount Everest! The walk into town is about 20mins - nothing to complain about. We got a taxi back every night anyway, for only 5 euros, if you don't fancy the walk.

I definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again if I return to Faliraki.

What can we say, we have just returned from a week's vacation staying at the beautiful Venezia Hotel in Faliraki and we are already missing all the wonderful people there and the amazing views when we used to wake up in the mornings and sit out taking in the amazing sights from our balcony!

Firstly a big thank you to Takis and his wonderful family for making our stay so memorable. Secondly to the lovely Tony who used to whip us up a lovely Roma pizza and Greek salad for our evening meal and finally to the amazing and wonderful Aaron who ran the bar in the evening and who always greeted us with the biggest smile and was such a lovely guy and who sometimes was run ragged with some of the less pleasant guests staying there!!!

For those who have read the negative reviews on here please do not believe them you will not be disappointed with your stay at the Venezia and if you are lucky enough to get room 403 you might have a little array of cats pass through the balcony as my friend used to have little treats for them all they loved her ha ha. Please be kind to them and the odd treat would be much appreciated!!!

Faliraki town was about a 20 minute walk from the hotel but if you didn't fancy the walk in sometimes searing heat you could book a taxi from the reception for 7 euros down and 5 euros back. Caught the bus down to Rhodes on our second day for 2.20 euros but if you did not fancy tha you can also get a taxi there for around 20 euros which is pretty reasonable. Some lovely little bars and restaurants and well worth the visit.

Have seen some bad reviews of the night life in Faliraki in some of the papers recently but please do not believe them. We walked up bar street most nights and yes there are people in the bars trying to get you in but we just walked past to the quieter bar at the end of the road. It is not as bad as the reviews it gets seriously!

And if you are reading this Takis I told you we would leave a lovely review for you ha ha!

Lots of love "your darlings" from Wales xxx

I have the holiday blues :( really really wish i was back in the Venezia staying, have just came home from the best holiday ever. Firstly the weather was brill, only one cloud seen in two weeks. The Venezia was clean, tidy and modern, with the maids cleaning the rooms and supplying clean sheets every day (apart from a Sunday). Id definitely recommend paying for the air con (especially in peak season) its 35 euros per week well worth the money. We had an amazing sea view and our balcony over looked the pool area. Some people may say that the Venezia isnt in the best location as it is about a 20 min walk to the beach and main strip of pubs/clubs etc, however this didnt put us off in the slightest, and ''the hill'' isnt that bad to walk up and down as some reviews have said. Im not the fittest of people and i have asthma, and at no point did i feel i couldnt do it. The cost for taxis are 7 euros down the hill and 5 euros back up, the cost can add up, but if your legs are still working then its nice to walk off your dinner on route back to your room. My friend and I walked every night and we were always greeted by the fantastic staff members, who had an ice cold drink waiting for us when we arrived back at the reception bar. The bar staff Aaron and Elisha worked really hard, (sometimes i didnt thinkthey slept) and always had a smile on their faces, they were able to tell us the best places to eat and drink, and to take in the sights that Rhodes has to offer, possibly the best cocktail and pizza makers Falaraki has to offer...(oh and dont forget to try the fish bowls) ;) Nothing was too much trouble for them. The Venezia pool side bar offered a great selection of food and drink by day, and id also suggest trying the Sunday night BBQ for 10 euros its well worth it. Its also worth noting that there is an on site mini super market, so you dont need to trail down to the main strip for the essentials. Theres a beach themed bar called Pasha on club street in the direction of the Ferris wheel, its a lovely relaxed bar, with live guitar music played by Andrew (just tell him Lindsay and Cara from Scotland sent you) and also the club Liquid is worth a visit (however the only down side to here is the drinks are expensive inside, so make sure you have a good drink before you go in) We met lots of really nice people, while staying in the Venezia, one of the friendliest resorts ive had the pleasure to stay at, and as sad as i was to leave, im taking home some fantastic new friends and memories!!! :) Thanks Venezia for a fab holiday!
