“Basic but good”

It was me, my sisters,my friend, my mum and my dad staying at the atalanti in rhodes, greece. It was basic but clean and tidy. The rooms were quite comftable and cosy but i do have one thing to fault, there were ants everywhere in my room so we had to buy sweets and put them outside to try and get the ants out of our room because the cleaners did not get rid of them. The swimming pool was good with peacocks all around the camp all day but they did not not bother me because they wasn't too noisy or distractive. The atalanti is great to relax, sunbathe, eat, drink and swim all day if you wanted to. It is a bit of a walk from the faliraki main town but there is a mini bus that leaves every morning at 10 o clock to town. In the town theres a bus that takes you to lindos which is where i stayed the year before in 2006 when i went to rhodes then and i have to say that it's a absoulutley lovley village. But overall i think i would go back to the
Atalanti.

me my partner arrived with our 4 children at the hotel at 4pm we were shown to our rooms. but to our disgust they werent cleaned from the last people who were there so they called for the cleaners in the mean time we were left with our luggage outside 4 nearly 2 hours finally the cleaner finished and we were allowed to enter. it was disgusting to say the least. we complained and they agreed to change the room. the other room was better but still not up to living standard. then about a hour later the owner comes and says we have got to go back to the other room because they have double booked. so we refused to return and stayed put. there was know running water in the kitchen sink when you turned the shower on it stank of rotten egg for the first 5 minutes. everyone in the hotel was complaining and wanted to leave but were told there was know hotels vacant on the island. i couldnt wait to come home from the minute i got there. and there is a bus that supposedly takes you in to town well you have to walk an extra 15 minutes cause it only takes you down the hill. i am writing this review to prevent other people from having a experience like we did DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL ITS NOT FIT FOR HUMANS!......ITS FILTHY!
