The season was just getting started so we got lots of attention when we needed anything, including the first night when we arrived late and they were able to rustle up a good meal for us quite late. The self-catering facilities were simple but ok for breakfast and snack meals; we don't often do this sort of holiday so weren't sure what to expect and another time I'd remember a tea towel! The apartment itself was very spacious for two though the twin bedded room was tiny and could have been a bit tight with two kids. As others have said, it was very clean, pleasant surroundings and the room cleaned and fresh towels provided each day (except the first because we slept in, but they left us to it which was what we needed.) We were happy with the setting as we hadn't gone for a beach holiday; we like walking and had gone for the wild flowers and the history. Similarly we'd chosen the cheapest option and weren't expecting a sea view but quite enjoyed our balcony overlooking a quiet street with the scent of orange blossom wafting up. All staff were very, very helpful, attentive and friendly and we ended up either eating in the hotel or popping down to the bar for a drink most nights. We kept mainly to the Greek food and found everything we had absolutely excellent and reasonable value considering we were a bit of a captive audience. I wasn't that fussed by the constant MTV/Sport Tv in the bar but I guess they needed something to attract local trade at that time of year, and it was no worse than a lot of British pubs.
