We stayed in August (15-25) with our two daughters and this is the third consequent year we are visiting this specific hotel. Every year they add something new always keeping in mind the needs of their customers. Extremely friendly personnel that want to make sure that your every need is accommodated. The hotel has a wonderful view of the Aegean Sea and sunset is soooo romantic! Children can play in the kids club and at the outdoor playground while parents visit the spa and relax. Thank you!

Just returned from what felt like a second honeymoon in the Elite Suites in Rhodes. This is truly an exceptional resort, we stayed in an Elite Suite with private pool. The suite was large and comfortable with amazing views of the Aegean sea. Varkarola is a magnificent restaurant and serves excellent breakfast buffet. I can undoubtedly say that it was the best breakfast buffet I had to date. The staff went far and beyond in order to be nice polite cooperative and welcoming towards us. You have to visit their spa! – they definitely know how to spoil all guests!!! This luxury hotel is definitely beyond comparison.

Yes we have returned for our third visit We don't normally like to go back to the same place. However trying to find somewhere that meets this specification is almost impossible. The Elite Suites never fail to deliver and tailor your stay to meet your individual needs. It truly is like home from home. The standards are exception in terms of the comfort and décor of the suite and the service you receive.

The spa is a lovely indulgence.

We always feel we are rejuvenated during this vacation. All staff are very attentive and considerate towards the guests.

We once again felt very sad when we had to leave.

Room Tip: If you want total privacy the elite suite with pool and garden is perfect. If you are looking for...

My review is probably going to be biased.
We didn't pay the full price to stay here for the night, having been upgraded from the main hotel, which was overbooked.
It is most certainly the best £100 we have ever spent!
The service is impeccable.
The rooms are to die for and we were on the end of the row, so our pool and terrace got sun all day, those in the middle only got the sun in the afternoon/early evening, so we could make use of our room all day. We had table and chairs and sun loungers to use on the terrace.
The bathroom has a rainfall shower cubicle, a bath tub with another shower and a separate cloakroom cubicle. The bathroom overall is spacious.
The bedroom has a separate seating area, lots of storage and a great mood lighting system.
There are lots of additional touches that makes the overall experience great, the service was fab.

We have just returned from an amazing and memorable family holiday at the Elite Suites in Rhodes. The first thing to mention is the fabulous service - we were made to feel very welcome and all the staff were professional, friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Leon and his team do a super job, a special mention to Mouchula, Chrisi, Signe, Reki, Sinjate, Kostas, Stefan (Van Persie) & Ilaria. Everyone also made a special effort with our 7 year old daughter who had a wonderful time. The breakfast is excellent, probably the best I've ever experienced on holiday - most definitely 5*. The spa is also amazing - I had 2 massages which were superb. I wouldn't say the facilities and common areas at the Amathus Hotel itself are of the same standard - it is a little tired looking but again the staff were very good. Our room was gorgeous - spacious, modern and very clean with a great sea view. Room service was excellent - Elena is lovely. The beach is okay but quite pebbly - Elite guests have their own private area. There is not much to do in Ixia, the restaurants are pretty average. We had dinner at the Varkarola Restaurant a few times which was really good - except the BBQ night which was a bit disappointing. Rhodes Town is worth a visit but very touristy.
In summary, we had one of the best holidays ever at the Elite Suites, definitely thanks to the wonderful service we received. We would love to return here one day.

Room Tip: High rooms have less road noise.

One word sums up the staff, the service and the Elite suites – WOW! We spent a week at this hotel for our Honeymoon.
Before we write the review I must pass our thanks to the Staff who made our honeymoon such a special time for us – Leonidas Drogaris (quality service manager) thank you- your friendliness, your politeness and your attention to detail is commendable, even though you had a private function on our departure you found time to come and wish us ‘Bon Voyage’
All the staff at the Varkarola restaurant, especially Signe, Emoke, Reka you all made our honeymoon so memorable.
This hotel describes itself as 5 star, We would class ourselves as experienced travellers worldwide and without doubt class this hotel as 5 star plus.
The suites are fantastic – Lighting, space, air con and the little touches delivered to our room during the day were a fantastic surprise.
The Honeymoon champagne breakfast served in our room (pic uploaded) was romantic and delicious. Following on from this the standard of food in the restaurant was very good. The hotel runs themed nights – Fish, BBQ and wow wow wow Lobster night, well worth paying a little extra for these nights The Lobster night being 5 courses!
Breakfast time was scrumptious – never seen as much choice available before.
We stayed half board and the little complimentary treats available in the Elite Suite reception were more than enough to satisfy us during the day, although food around the hotel was a reasonable price. Drinks are in comparison with hotel prices anywhere and we did not find them to overpriced.
The Elite suite – Black Pool area was great, never over crowded it was our oasis after a few hours at the beach, of course as Elite suite guest’s you have your own area on the beach. The hotel is in an ideal location for Rhodes Town (8 to10 euros by taxi- 10 mins) great during the day – but worth a visit at night. The spa area of the hotel is set up very well and relaxing, we both had a treatment – do spoil yourselves if you go – reasonably priced.
We would have no hesitation recommending the Elite Suites as a perfect venue for a visit to Rhodes.
It was our first time in Rhodes and we will without a doubt be guests of the Elite suites again.
Thank you
Gary & Joanna

We have just returned from a week in the Elite Suites and really didn't want to leave. We have had accommodation with a private pool before - generally little more than a plunge pool - but this pool was an excellent size. Our outside balcony area was very spacious - plenty of room for two sun loungers, a table and chairs and a bench. From the welcome glass of champagne at Reception and the bottle of pink champagne and huge bowl of fruit awaiting us in our room, this was a holiday to remember. I agree the glass doors in the bathroom are a bit strange but the bathroom itself was excellent. We were not bothered as other customers appeared to be by unwelcome visits by service staff. The staff - from the cleaners to the manager - were unfailingly courteous and helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We had room service breakfast most days at no extra charge - excellently prepared and presented. The Varkarola restaurant had a good ambience - much more pleasant than the usual buffet type hotel restaurants - and the food was superb. The provision of snacks and soft drinks throughout the day in the Elite Reception area was an added luxury. The location of the hotel, adjoining a busy main road, wouldn't appeal to everyone but our room was high enough to shut out most of the noise. We didn't use the beach - it looked ok for lounging on the sun beds but the sand was pretty gritty. A huge plus was the proximity to the enchanting Rhodes Town - 5-10 minutes and 8 euros by taxi. We spent many hours wandering the delightful streets of the Old Town, shopping and relaxing in one of the many cafes. I would definitely recommend the Elite Suites for someone who wants a relaxing, pampering holiday, and I can't wait to return there.

Room Tip: The suites higher up have a better sea view and less road noise
