“Villa Zacosta is as charming as its host John”
Reviewed 23 August 2010

We loved our visit to Villa Zacosta. John is very welcoming and highly knowledgable about the attractions of Rhodes. He goes above and beyond in service to his guests. He took very good care of us when we encountered a snafu with our ferry. The breakfasts were sumptuous and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. .

We stayed at the Zacosta villa Hotel 7-9 July, 2010 and it was far and away our favorite hotel. I has a fabulous location in the Old Town of Rhodes and close to all the historical sites. The hotel courtyard was an oasis from the hustle and bustle of the busy alleys. My 2 daughters (25 and 21) thought it was great too and could not stop raving about the comfort of the beds and the quality of the breakfast.. My wife and I had the suite with 4-poster bed, large bath with Jacuzzi, and fireplace. It was a very romantic room. John Pedilis was a wonderful, solicitous, and interesting host. John helped make our stay in Rhodes all the more memorable. I highly recommend the Zacosta Villa Hotel.

Can only agree with all the other reviews! Faboulous place in superb location in the old town. Excellent breakfast. Lovely clean rooms equipped with everything you could need. John was so helpful from our first e-mail enquiry until our sad farewell to the Zacosta. Could not praise John enough and will definately be back! Thanks for a lovely anniversary stay.

We just returned from our 3 week trip to Greece. Rhodes was our first stop and Zacosta far exceeded any expectations. All other accomodation on our trip didn't even compare to the level of service provided by John. From the delicious breakfast to the cozy slippers and robes no attention to detail is spared. The location is fantastic and we were able to see so much of the old town, it was awesome to stay within the walls. Whether we needed a bottle of wine, directions, a ride to the ferry or any area information, John would help out. The level of service is outstanding. If you are looking for a place to stay in Rhodes, look no further. This place is fabulous! Thank you for everything John!

Great location, beautiful room and the best host ever. Though it is pricey, we do recommend, for more than one night, the Gran Maestro Suite, with a four-poster bed, a lovely fireplace (candles, no fire) and a large sitting area. Host John Pelidis met our taxi at the Old City wall, piled our suitcases on a sturdy cart – and pulled it over the cobblestones to the Zacosta. And the next day he drove us to pick up our rental car (we were able to find free parking each day outside the city walls). John offered excellent restaurant and travel suggestions – and wonderful conversation about Greek history, food and culture/quirks. The breakfasts, served on the spacious courtyard, were nutritious and delicious.

My wife and I had a wonderful time in Rhodes thanks in large part to John and his carefully restored Zacosta Villa boutique hotel. The breakfasts in the morning and wine in the evening were relaxing and just plain good. Fresh squeezed orange juice, a variety of serials, fruit, breads and my favorite, rice pudding. John is such a nice guy who is very interesting to talk with and extremely conversant in English. It was like staying in a luxury villa with your best friend as host. The location in the Old City of Rodos was great.....it made everything easy to get to, including the fine restaurants suggested by John. You won't go wrong booking at this hotel.

We spent a week at Zacosta and booked all three rooms for a family holiday. Our stay was wonderful - everything you read in the reviews is accurate. Everything about the Zacosta experience was excellent and John was the perfect host. We had a fantastic week there and will definitely plan a return visit in the future. Highly recommended!
