I would say the main highlight of my stay was how helpful the staff was. The lady who I believe was the owner, provided so much information, and even personalized maps for us! The location could not be better, close to the beach, bus station and the old town! I definitelly recommend it!

Yvonne is a wonderful host. She supplies information on everything you need to have a perfect holiday. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the small things are all thought through such as clothes pegs to hang your washing out. The rooms have fly screens on the balcony doors which even so called up market hotels don't have.
Nothing is too much trouble for Yvonne. Towels for the beach are provided free and she knows the town and the island, and happily gives you advice on places to go with maps to help you.
The hotel is easy walking distance to the beaches, the old town and the harbour. Situated in a quiet pedestrian street, it really is true Greece.

this is an excellent budget price hotel. ok the rooms are relatively small, but in the summer you don,t spend an awful lot of time in them. they are clean and tidy, for our stay the room was cleaned each day. all rooms have a fridge, and some basic stuff like a kettle, cutlery etc. is provided so you can have breakfast on your balcony if you want. its in a great location close to all you need, bars and restaurants of all types and budget, the beach is 5 mins walk away, and the old town (medieaval historical site - again packed with bars and restaurants) about 15 mins walk. its also quiet at - and through - the night as its in a pedestrian area. however, the best thing about the hotel is yvonne the owner/manager, you will not find a more pleasant, helpful person on your travels. she provides guests with copies of local maps highlighting places for breakfast, bars and restaurants, local supermarkets, and is always ready to answer any questions you may have. a couple of things to keep in mind - 1. the local beaches are not really ideal for v. young children, quite pebbly and the sea gets deep quite quickly and 2. the local church chimes on the hour starting at 8 in the morning, it didn't bother us but perhaps not ideal if you want a lie in.

Room Tip: perhaps one on the 1st floor as there is no lift, however yvonne will happily lug your case up the s...

Even before we had arrived, Yvonne had sent us useful information including how to find the hotel via whatever means of transport we may be using. On meeting her, she was as delightful and helpful as we had anticipated. Nothing was too much trouble because she is a genuinely lovely lady. The hotel is superbly located between the old town and the beach, meaning everything is easily accessible. It is in a beautiful little lane way which adds much to its charm. Very reasonably priced - it's a winner.

While the accommodation is average, this is more than offset by the handy location to the old town centre and beach. This is a typical family run hotel when nothing is too much trouble. I would recommend this property to people looking for value for money.

The position of the hotel is just perfect....ten minutes by walk from the city center, and a few minutes from the nearest beach...it is located in a nice and quiet road...
The hotel is a 2 stars, of course it is minimal, but trust me there is everything you need...breakfast is not included, but in the room there is a fridge and all you need to eat and drink (plates, bowls, glasses, spoons etc.)even a boiler.....each room has a balcony with a small table and chairs, so it is nice to have breakfast there.
Ivonne, the owner of the hotel, she's just the best!!!! She is so sweet, always available and ALWAYS smiling (nowadays it is veeery difficult to find people like that)...and she gives many useful tips (good restaurants for example).....
Don't hesitate......go to Florida hotel!!!!

The owner is perhaps the nicest I've ever met. She waited up to greet us, helped us with our bags and was so helpful in giving us feedback on places to go. The location is great for walking rhodes town, 10 minutes to the old city, Starbucks is close, and a nice sunset beach is 10 minutes away. The price is good, if you are looking for a nice place at a good price, this place is it. Yes, the hotel is somewhat simple but we loved it.
