This was our first stay on the island of Greece, and I must say if I could move the apartments closer in to the town we would defo stay here again. The apartments were very clean & the staff were very helpful. There could of been a bit more wardrobe space in our apartment. But the place was to quiet and there wasn't much to do nearby. The nearest beach wasn't very big and wasn't much to my liking. It was a 20 minute walk in to the nearest town for something to eat. I would recommend The Lunar Bar the staff here were very friendly and helpful, plus the food was brilliant you could not fault it, we eat here for breakfast every morning and most evening for dinner.Just a tip if your using taxis's it's cheaper to flag one down at the side of the road as if you book through the bar that your in or where you are staying they add on 3 euro's.Not sure if I would go back to this side of the island as it needed a lot of upgrading and a general tidy up.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 222 on the ground level right near the pool which was handy.

Just returned from a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing stay at these apartments. The family who run them are extremely friendly and helpful- nothing is too much trouble. Conveniently situated to a beach and just 15 minutes' walk from Ialyssos town with numerous restaurants at very reasonable prices. There are 2 supermarkets within 100 yards, the best equipped one being the other side of a busy road, with one of the owners being English and very helpful too. The apartment was very clean, quite spacious for two people, with air conditioning in the bedroom, a balcony and a kitchenette/dining area with bed settee and TV. There is free Wifi in the reception area and a small bar where you can order sandwiches or pizza. The small pool has sufficient loungers for guests and is quiet and relaxing. Ideally located on the west coast of Rhodes, just 15 minutes from the airport, with a pleasant breeze making the 30+ degree temperatures non-oppressive. Rhodes town is a 15 minute bus or taxi ride away and is well worth a visit, as is the acropolis village of Lindos on the east coast, though you will need to hire a car or do an organised trip to get there. Hire cars can be organised through the reception at a reasonable rate and the local hire company are happy to collect you in the morning and allow you to leave the car in the apartment car park at the end of the day. These apartments are excellent value for money if you want a quiet and relaxing stay with a warm welcome.

We stayed here as a couple on B&B basis in a one bed roomed apartment, from 16/07 - 30/07/2014 . From the moment we arrived we were met with nothing but kindness and helpfulness.. We were very late arriving due to a hitch by jet2 but when we got to the hotel we were checked in very quickly and efficiently by the lovely Claudio who works the night shift . He is really worth chatting to over a wee drink or two. He is knowledgeable about many things !! The next morning when we went down for breakfast we were met by Antonis (the owner) and his lovely daughter Anita . Wonderful hardworking people who couldn't do enough to help make our holiday a great one.
Breakfast was continental and absolutely worth the money. Set us up for the day.. Fresh rolls, croissants, boiled eggs, cheese, ham, Greek yoghurt, honey , fresh orange juice and lots of delicious coffee.
The hotel is a quiet one but many families and couples there enjoying the pool and sunbeds .
Bar snacks available and I highly recommend the special pizza which only cost €3.60 and was plenty for two adults sharing as a snack . Absolutely delicious. Drinks at hotel not expensive either and only €3.50 for a piña colada cocktail.!!!!
The apartment was very roomy , furnished in nice light coloured units and a two dearer sofa that doubles as a double bed if required. Coffee table , dinner table and chairs , sink , fridge and two small hobs which we never used , ( we were on holiday in rhodes ,!! Who cooks ? ) the bedroom was spacious and the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on in Greece !! We paid €125 for two weeks air con and was worth every penny. Most Greek hotels charge for aircon , especially in view of the price we paid for the holiday . Not expensive as we factored in the price of this at outset. We never saw a mosquito in our room at all. !! Never even had a bite between us !!!
Buses go from outside hotel to town from a cross the road and to airport ., on same side as hotel , buses are cheap at €2.20 one way to rhodes. However , getting on the bus at rhodes town is a free for all !!!
Trips,, butterfly valley is a must see. Went on boat trip to lindos, boat trip brilliant by discovery cruises and we just booked at port costing us €15 , much cheaper than rep offers. Just go into rhodes town on bus and walk along port and you will see all the trips on offer.,. Didn't particularly like lindos, very busy , very commercialised , but each to their own!!!
Rhodes town is stunning , old rhodes town especially so, visit at night as well as in daytime.!!!
Throne of Helios 9D cinema next to Starbucks in rhodes., absolutely brilliant and well worth a visit.30 min showing of story of rhodes in 9D for €10 adult and €6 child but so worth it !!! Great experience.,
Back to hotel which is brilliantly placed for shops , tavernas, supermarkets ect and beach a five minute walk . Beach is very pebbly and it's advisable to wear aqua shoes which all the local shops sell for around €6 .
Get to know Antonis, he is a very learned man , a retired paediatrician , and you can see how much he loves to see the children who stay , playing round the pool ,. He is a lovely hardworking man who is so very proud of his family..
Anita, his daughter, makes the best Frappe coffee in rhodes and ways has a smile and friendly greeting for you. . We had a lovely relaxing holiday here at Anita aparthotel and would not hesitate to highly recommend this lovely hotel for your holiday..
Thanks to all the staff there for making our holiday a very memorable one.

This was our first trip to Rhodes and we had a lovely time. We were given a warm welcome by Anita and her family and nothing was too much trouble. Our apartment had plenty of room for myself, hubby and our two daughters (20 & 15), the only slight problem was lack of drawers for clothes so we did have to leave some clothes in the suitcases. Air conditioning was a must and worth the extra 60 euros, and the safety deposit box was 20 euros which is behind reception - not in the rooms, but it was just big enough for an iPad, mobile phone, bit of jewellery and passports. My only gripe I suppose is that I could not pay for these or excursions booked at reception with a credit or debit card, i had to use cash that I hadn't planned for. As mentioned in previous peoples reviews, this is a great base. Pool area is nice and clean. We preferred to go out after breakfast and walk to "villa di mare" which was about 20 mins away. This fab bar with pool is on the sea front and as long as you spend 4 euros per person you can use their pool and sun beds all day. We went there twice in our week away and had lunch there too. You also get as much iced water free of charge as you want. Great place! Another similar pool bar is Akti, this is just 10 mins in same direction, much quieter and this has it's own beach too. Look for the pink shopping centre on way to ixia on the main road, it's hidden away at the end of the row of shops. Great at night too watching the sun going down. A must when in Rhodes is a visit to the old town. Bus stops right outside the hotel or you can get a taxi for 12 euros. We went 3 times. Stunning place, bigger than we thought it would be and lots of great places to eat. Over all we had a great time and if we returned or rhodes we would stay here again unless we decide to go all inclusive.

Room Tip: Our room was the third building which was furthest away from the busy road. Top floor so had a good view and nice breeze.

Anita Apart. Hotel in Ialyssos is located along the main road from the airport to Rhodes city. The appartment hotel is set back from the road with a parking area and a garden, Antonis the owner of the hotel named after his daughter Anita, who runs the reception and the bar has a medical background as a pediatrician - now retired since a few years. Very nice and service minded. Treat them well and they will go out of their way to make sure your visit will be the best possible.

More people should use these kinds of apartment hotels since it provides more of an ecosystem allowing the local community to recover from its financial challenges. Anita and family deserves kudos for running this facility as they do. The facilities may not include flatscreen TV in every room, but there is a TV and there is passion for making the guests feel well.

It is located near the beach 100 meters or so, has an excellent lunch restaurant just a few meters down the road in the direction of the beach. Supermarket and restaurant nearby across the road.

Room Tip: Pick a corner room facing the road for an airy experience - it is not very noisy anyway. Pick a room overlooking the pool for max quietness.
