“I had a perfect week in this excellant Hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 August 2014

This is without doubt 1 of the best hotels I have stayed in.
Rooms are large and spotless, bathroom, spa bath etc with free wifi in the rooms, and by the pool! The Food on offer every morning and evening was fresh and delicious with such a large variety. The pools were excellent and I never had a problem getting a bed in the area I wanted.
The service by Mike and the Maître'de Christophe was spot on.
I have 2 Guest Houses so I know how hard it is to keep everything 100%.
This hotel has got everything RIGHT!

This was our first visit to Rhodes and I used trip advisor to select this hotel. It is definitely worthy of its five star rating. The food was the best we have ever had and the staff in all areas of the hotel went out of their way to be friendly and ensured we had a wonderful stay. When we arrived we had a room which had a sea view but did not overlook the pool we asked for a room facing the pool and this request was met after two days. The room was cleaned to a very high standard with the benefit of tea and coffee facilities. The choice of food every day was excellent and well cooked and presented. The pool area was lovely with plenty of sunbeds available at all times. I agree with some of the other reviews that some of the corridor areas are a little bare and need developing. Rhodes town is wonderful with lots to see and do, although buses were frequent and only took 10 to 15 minutes to reach the centre they were sometimes quite full. We took a scenic walk to the town one day over the headland which took about 40 minutes. Ixia itself is not very developed and only has a few bars and restaurants. On our final day we were not leaving until the evening and to keep our room until 4 o'clock was £50. The alternative was to use the spa as the hotel does not provide a courtesy room. Most hotels have a room set aside for this purpose and this did rather spoil the last day as using the spa was awkward and not very private. This was the only negative in an otherwise perfect holiday. I would certainly visit this hotel again.

Room Tip: Pool facing rooms are best.

Thank you so much for a fantastic four days at your hotel! Our only regret is that we should have stayed a full week at this beautiful hotel!! The breakfast, room, and staff were beyond our expectations. I would like to thank management for the room upgrade as well. What a pleasant suprise! This is my second time at this hotel over the past three years and I must say they get better with time!!

This was our first visit to Rhodes, and we were so happy to have chosen this hotel. It’s not in Rhodes Town, but it’s a quick cab ride away. The hotel is really large, relatively new and has all the bells and whistles. We had a Deluxe Junior Suite with sea view, with its own heated plunge pool on the balcony, where you can catch a beautiful sunset. The room was really clean, large, we had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, which is great when traveling with a teenager. The beds were super comfortable and the AC was really strong (not always the case in Europe). The resort also has a spa, a mini-mart on site selling everything from food to souvenirs, an amazing pool and a pretty good poolside restaurant. Their buffet breakfast in the mornings is outstanding! Anything you can possibly desire to eat even sushi! My daughter loved the pancakes with white chocolate on top. Warning: If you wish to dine in the restaurant for dinner, the men in your party must be wearing pants. Shorts are not allowed. Since we did not know this and my husband only brought shorts on this trip, we were not able to eat dinner at the hotel, so I cannot comment on the restaurant’s dinner menu. But this was fine with us, as we were eating dinner in the old town every night.

The hotel does seem a bit odd, as if there are areas that were not finished, and the hallways do look like a commercial building/hospital of some sort, but I think this is just because of the building’s design. Also the hallways were quite hot, as if the AC was not on. But once you enter your room, it’s beautiful and very modern and comfortable.

One drawback (which we encountered in other areas of Europe as well), was the Wi-Fi connection. You had to basically be in the lobby for it to work properly. Also, for a relatively new property, the pool grout needed a good cleaning and there were many tiles missing. For a 5 star resort such as this, you shouldn’t expect to see that. As with most pool resorts in Europe, most of the pool loungers were reserved with towels from very early on. I hate that European hotels allow this, however, this property did have an abundance of chairs to choose from.

Overall, we all loved this hotel and would definitely consider staying there again on our next visit to Rhodes.

We loved this hotel. great rooms, absolutely fantastic swimming pool and pool area, and friendly staff. We visted in June, and the only niggle was the usual sun bed hogging. I normally get up early, and like to be at the pool around 8, but usually the best spots were reserved, and noone turned up till a few hours later. apart from that its a fantastic hotel, and we would return in a minute.

- Beautiful hotel (exactly like the pictures)
- amazing sea view
- perfect location (few minutes from the old city).
- the room was so comfort and convenient.
- we loved the food and all the variety, and the sweets.....mmm
- the pool is so fun and relaxing
- although the hotel was full booked, it was so quiet (we barely saw children).
- nice live shows were in the main bar every evening, for people who wanted to relax at the hotel.
- the spa was excellent, and the Hammam was the best i ever saw.

But most of all- we want to thank the staff! They did our vacation perfect.
they were so kind and polite. always came forward us with a smile, answer all our questions with all the patience, and treat us like we were the only couple in the hotel.
thank you!!!

We will sure come back next summer,
Noga & Nimrod

Room Tip: our room was 2nd floor with no pool, but it was so comfort and had a nice sea view (beautiful sunset...

We visited this hotel during our vacation in Rhodes, visiting with friends who were staying there. We couldn't help but admire the beauty of the place walking around the grounds and of course seeing the rooms. all were gorgeous and we started to get really jealous of our friends staying there. We went down to the pool for a swim, a drink and a snack and it was delightful. we started to get hungry for something more substantial so we went to the greek restaurant directly adjacent to the pool. The food was, in my opinion, one of the more tasty and enjoyable on the island. in addition, the service was both friendly and professional. We walked back to the pool to watch the sunset which everyone said was amazing from there. which it was. We went back to the bar to enjoy one of their signature cocktails at the recomendation from the bartender which was delicious, called the Mastihito, if youre there dont miss it, thank you Mila
The only reason I give them four stars instead of five is it was a little hard to find a server and it took a little longer than it should have to get our drinks
