We felt very lucky to stay in St. Michel. The owner was very hospitable, and insisted that we sat down and had a "submarine" (cool water with mastic), bedore going to our rooms. The rooms were spacious, with a simple style, but with attention for detail. The rooms were quiet, but still the hotel is only two minutes walking from the centre of Rhodos-town. For a few euro's you get a breakfast in the sun in front of the hotel. After my 2 day holiday in this hotel I unfortunately had to move to one of the resorts at the seaside for business. It was a pretentious but little over the hill business hotel, and every night I longed to go back to the wonderful hotel st Michel. One day I will....

Fantastic place to stay. Great location in a slightly quieter and atmospheric part of the old town. If you can, get the rooftop room (it's slightly more but worth it) as the views are fantastic and the room is lovely. The second room we had on our return was very nice too, if a bit small, but we were probably spoilt by the first. The owner is great, as is the local alcohol he plied us with. Didn't try the breakfast so can't comment.

Hotel is very well located just 2-3 min walk to historic centre of Rhodes. We stayed on the first floor steps are high and no one helped us for carrying luggages. Room is spacious had also small kitchenette. We could not get a queen or king size bed which was disturbing.
No idea about breakfast as this was not included.

Room Tip: Please assure your bed type before arrival.

Rhodes was our first stop in Greece and I am so happy we stayed at Saint Michel. Although initially a little tricky to find, the location is perfect. We arrived by boat and entered by the nearest gate, into a square that Perikleous st comes off of. We asked a local waiter and were directed up a cobblestone path. St michel is a perfect, clean hotel with all the amenities you will need, and anything extra you require the lovely owner will be able to assist you. He knows everything! There are only 5 rooms, wifi is available and breakfast is €5 per person and includes a lot of white bread, a toasted sandwich, orange juice, jam, coffee/tea and a few biscuits. If I ever go back to rhodes I wouldn't stay anywhere else. Everything is within walking distance and you get the real Rhodes experience.

Room Tip: We had room 10 and it had a queen bed upstairs and a single bed downstairs. It had a good view and g...

Saint Michel is a great place to stay for a taste of medieval living; the old stone building made our stay in Rhodes a truly unique experience. Chris, the owner/manager, is a super nice guy who was very helpful in arranging a rental car and providing recommendations for things to do and see. Our room had high ceilings, stone walls, plenty of space for our luggage. Bed was hard, I felt the mattress springs. Shower was TINY and we went without any hot water one morning, but were offered access to another room in order to shower. The 5 €/pp breakfast they offer is nothing fantastic; toast, coffee, juice and a grilled cheese sandwich. Overall, hotel is good in a nice quiet location near a main square.

Room Tip: Room #1 on the main floor has a neat layout with a back door opening to the rear alleyway, but it no...
