“The hidden Czech restaurant”
Reviewed 17 August 2012

The restaurant does serve very good Greek food which guaranteed fresh and non-frozen ingredients. It has a mostly Czech-Polish clientele probably due to the fact that there is at least one very friendly Czech waiter there. Perhaps the best here is that you can get cold Budvar draft beer.

“Cassandras garden, superb famliy made food”
Reviewed 16 July 2012

Rhodes town is full of eating places which are much the same. Go to the top of the hill near the church and turn left into Ippodamou 1, you will find this place on the left. We ate on the roof garden, a beatifully made sphag bog which was full of flavour at a good price. Worth a visit

“Lovely roof garden...”
Reviewed 4 September 2011

We stumbled across this lil gem of a restaurant down one of the quieter cobbled streets in Rhodes town. Attracted by the lack of photographs with the menu we decided to give it a try. It seemed very quiet but the man who greeted us told us he would pay for the meal if we did not have a delicious dinner. Sold! We were seated on the roof terrace which is gorgeous. The decor is very rustic Greek and the staff were very welcoming. We shared a selection of starters including baked feta, Melitzanosalata and tzaziki. The food is as promised, delicious!! For mains we had souvlaki and moussaka which were equally as good. When we got the bill we were so surprised how reasonable the meal was. Rhodes town is full of touts trying to get you to eat in their restaurants which is really of putting. This place is tucked away but definitely worth finding!
