We had a third floor sea facing room, towels, bedding and room serviced everyday. I'm not picky so the food was OK for me, plenty. It states 4**** but more like a 3***, but have no problems as all staff are great, helped many times with non hotel problems we had. Never used the pool so could not comment but looked OK.If you can get a sea facing front room, sat with a few beers on the great balcony watching the sun set over turkey is a sight not to be missed.

I have just returned from a week at the belair hotel. Working in the hospitality industry myself I know what to look for. From the minute I checked in the staff were very hospitable and friendly. The food is good with plenty of choice and gets replenished regularly. Yes, the bedrooms could do with a refurb, but seeing as I don't go on holiday to sit in a room I had no problems with them. They are cleaned on a daily basis and having free air con is a bonus. I would not hesitate in returning to this hotel. Thank you for a great week. Mark and Anna

Sue and Gary South Wales. Don't know who awarded star rating for this hotel but they must have been drinking to much ouzo !!!!!!! My wife and I are frequent travellers who always stay in four or five star rated hotels and always all inclusive and in our opinion this hotel rates as no more than two star not four as advertised. Hotel is old and rooms very basic. Okay the staff were always cheerful and polite but the food was terrible, always the same choice and most of the time cold. We were not even allowed to take a cup of coffee to our room ( there were no tea or coffee facilities in the rooms ) Beach across the road is pebbles no sand at all so subsequently did not use. We had a late flight home and were unable to have late check out which we had requested at time of booking. The facilities for showereing etc were disgusting. Nothing to do in the area during the day or night, and only two nights entertainment during our stay.We would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Really disappointed and we would definately not go back.

Room Tip: Get a sea facing room - nice breeze off the ocean

Dear guests
we have went through your review very carefully and we are terribly sorry because you are so dissapointed with our Hotel. Please allow us though to put to your attention the following
1. LATE CHECK OUT
When a guest makes a request, we would do our best to provide the requested service. Especially when a guest wish a late check out, as it is provided against a reasonable amount, there is no reason from hotel's side to refuse it. Except in case there is no availability. Unless you suggest that we will sell you e room that another guest already paid for but will not get it. I am 100% convinced that you wouldn;t like this to happen to you!!!
2. FOOD - VARIETY
We can perfectly accept if you did not like the food, but we would like to reconsider the issue of the variety as soon as we plan our dinner for 14 days to be as much as diversion it is possible. I would be glad in case I would have the opportunity to send you the menu we have prepared for the period you were staying with us (if I could only know the dates) to prove my words.
3. FOOD - COLD
Exactly because we are aware of the wish of the british guests to have as hot food as possible, we always set the temperature of the food at 75-78 degrees. We cannot unfortunately keep it in a higher temperature because then the food is getting cooked. In order though to offer to our guests the option to have food as hot as possible, we placed a microwave oven next to the buffet for this purpose.
Dear Guest, please notice that we are trying to offer the best we can for the most attractive rate for the guests. Unfortunately you do not mention in your review how do you find the VALUE FOR MONEY factor, which would be very interesting.
We thank you though for your kindness to write about us and we would like to ensure you that we will try harden in future about our guests

With kind regards

GEORGE MORAITIS

Stayed for 4 nights. Staff is efficient and polite. Breakfast and dinner are generous. Meidum sized pool. It is a beach hotel, however the beach (just across the street) is nothing special. Had aroom overlooking the main road, however no problem with noise. Rooms are dated and need refurbishment urgently. Beds are old, a 14 inc TV with very bad signal (2 Greek state chanels, BBC, CNN, SKY and some others). Room for two, but for three days we were left with only one towel. Shampoo and body lotion was never replaced. Ofcourse we could complain, but is this normal for a 4 star hotel not to replace towels? In addition, we had to pay for the safe (had to take the key from the reception). All in all a mixed experience, will not return

Dear guests
we would like to thank you for spending sometime to share your feelings for the period spend in the hotel. Please notice that we normally change the towels and the bed sheets every second day. If this haven't happenned during the four days you have spend in the hotel, we would like to apologise strongly. Also please notice that, starting this winter we will proceed to a refurbshment of the hotel, including the TV sets.

Rooms are ok, a bit outdated but ok, at least those with sea view.
Everything else was quite poor: breakfast, pool, staff, overall service, no wifi.
Women on the reception speak to the visitors in a disparaging tone, as well as to each other, but I think it's the problem of almost all Greek women. Well, they will help you and give all the information you need, but do not expect friendly and patient service.
I personally didn't like the location of the hotel. In my opinion the other side of the island is much better. The beach in front of the hotel is not sandy but rocky, besides sunbeds cost 8 Euros which is twice more expensive than on the east side of the island.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms have nice big balconies.

Dear guests

I would like to mention that comments like

'Women on the reception speak to the visitors in a disparaging tone, as well as to each other, but I think it's the problem of almost all Greek women'

show lack of respect against the 53% of the greek population in general. Isn't it controversial that , they talk in such a 'disparaging tone', but at the same time they would offer you any help you need? Would it ever crossed your mind that their tone is simply not familiar to you?

Also please notice that the cost of the sunbeds is the same all over the island. And the area is not 'rocky' but with pebbles.

We would like though to thank you for the time you have spend to write your review and to ensure you that simply we express our feelings and we use a tone that is not familiar to you

with the best wishes of the staff and the management

We booked a last minute all inclusive week and were not disappointed. The hotel was great, all the staff were lovely, welcoming and could not do enough for you. The rooms were clean and the air con was a real plus in the heat. The buffet was good and food tasty, sometimes on an all inclusive the food can become repetitive, this wasn't the case here. I would really recommend this hotel it's close to the beach and Rhodes town and has everything you need. The decor is a little dated but they are revamping during the Winter which will make it even better. A special mention to Mr George who is in charge of the restaurant and all his staff they are so hard working and kind.

Room Tip: Side sea view is quieter than the front
