An excellent hotel for the money. It's only real let down is the small swimming pool area, but who cares it's 2 minutes walk from the beach!

If it was on the beach and had a bigger pool area it would definitely be classed as 5*. Those that say it isn't up to this standard, what do you expect? You always have to knock one star off when you go abroad if you're being realistic (it's easily a 4*). You can't pay around £20-£25 a night per person for all inclusive accommodation and expect the Ritz! Just imagine what a 5* star hotel with all your food and drink included would cost in the UK!?! Maybe £200 per person?

The food was fantastic with plenty of choice, if you're a fussy eater, vegetarian, on a special diet or only like fast food then don't book an all inclusive hotel!! If you're open minded and like to eat lots of different things then you'll be quite happy here.

The staff are generally quite friendly, especially Tony on the bar and if you're polite they are always willing to help. Those that think you get good service by being rude and aggressive will usually get exactly the type of service that they deserve. Drinks are mainly own brands but there is still quite a lot of choice and they are pretty good quality.

Rooms were comfortable and immaculately clean, only disappointment here was the view, but you are in the centre of the island's capital so I guess you can't have it both ways.

Location is great, restaurants and quiet bars on your door step. If you fancy a crazier night, then bar street is about 5 minutes away at the most. The main shopping areas about 5 minutes in another direction and the main harbour very nearby as well. Everything you could ask for here really.

I would have no hesitation about staying here again and as long as your expectations are realistic I'm sure it's a great hotel for anyone. The only exception is that perhaps not for families with children as I didn't see much for kids, but to be honest that was a good thing as far as I was concerned!!

The hotel is very nice located, you can reach everything by feet (both beach and sightseeing highlights). The staff is very friendly, the food excellent. As in many reviews, I agree that the hotel restaurant and the swimming pool area is very crowded. But this is typical for many city hotels. The guy making pizza in the evenings is absolutely oh my god slowly!!! So be prepared for a huge queue if You want pizza for dinner. The rooms are very clean, bathroom, too. I would suggest the all inclusive programme to everyone, it is definitely worth it. The guests (mainly young) come from all over Europe, especially from Holland and Scandinavia. If You want to check out later than at 12 a.m. they will charge You. Otherwise you can put your luggage in the reception. The sunbed and ubrella costs 4EUR a day on the city beach, in the hotel swimming pool area is it free of course. I spent a nice holiday there!!!

We were in PP during 1 week in April 2008. The hotel is perfeclty located (100 m to a beach with waves, 200-300 m to quiet one and Aquarium, ~1 km to the port and Old City walls). Plenty of restaurants, souvenir shops and groceries around. Breakfasts and dinners were definitely good, our son enjoyed too (special thanks to pizza-man). Personal was very helpful and nice.

Now the disadvantages - it sounds curious but in our room no wall was in right angle with another ones. Noise from the corridor enters to a room. There were no city maps and/or advertisements of a local attractions in lobby. The pool is small relative to the hotel size.
