Me and my girlfriend just got back home after a weeks vacation at Lomeniz. We were in Rhodos to enjoy the sun and to relax and for that Lomeniz was a great hotel. It was close to the beach which was great. Just a 1 minute walk from the hotel and it was a large and okey beach. I little rocky in some places but otherwise good. There was two showers with clean water and a little cafe where you could buy ice cream and drinks. The location of the hotel gets a 2,5/5 because it's was a 15-20 min walk to the old town but If you are two people walking it seems like 5 minutes and on the way you pass a big supermarket where you can but almost anything you like. We walked to and from the old town every day and there was never any problems. The hotel itself was good value for the money, the staff was nice and we never had any problem with the being rude. We only had breakfast at the hotel but that was good not very much to choose from but you never had to leave there hungry. The rooms were big and the balcony as well. But of you can choose, take a room with a view of the ocean and preferably on the 3rd or 4th floor. The pool are at the hotel was good, clean and normal. But there was to few sunbeds but if you get there before 10 there was never any problem. I would recommend this hotel to people who come to Rhodos to enjoy the sun but of you come to Rhodos to party, choose a hotel in the city because this was a little to far away.

Clean, renovated inside, but not outside, huge balcony, you have to cross the street for the beach which is public, not very accesorised, rocky in the water-you need special shoes.
Location in a residential area, in the periffery of the city; you can walk till the Old town 20 min.
Breakfast buffet not a big choice, but dinner buffet very good.

Room Tip: some rooms have sea view

We visited Rhodes with a family for a week. I do not agree with the oppinion that the food is not good. We had half board and both breakfasts and dinners were good: the menu changed quite often and there was always something you found to your taste. The problem was that there was no labels to the food and I saw a lady taking sweet white pudding to stewed potatoes thinkin it was tszatziki. It would not harm to put labels to the plates.

The drawbacks: far from the center, but taxis awailable and it costs about 5 euros to go to the center from the hotel. The free wifi in the lobby is fluctuating and you had to ask the personnell to make the router restart every now and then. The third thing: the hotel staff wristbands guests according to the level: all-inclusive got yellow bands and half board blue armbands. I had the guts to resist the labelling and got a card stating my "feeding policy". It worked and the restaurant staff was able to remember us all and did not bother us to ask for the wristband. I urge you all to counter this wristbanding policy.

Room Tip: Choose a room away from the street, it might get noisy as the hotel bar faces also the main street.

The hotel itself is nice and clean, however the food was average for a 4 star hotel- more or less the same food each day. Booked a 7 night stay with friends (all of us young English females) and found we were the only young and English staying at the hotel. Reception staff- Particularly the male was very unhelpful who didn't even show us to our rooms- just handed us the key! The hotel is in a secluded area so have to get the bus/taxis everywhere. Beach across the road full of locals and not very pleasant due to the busy road right next to it. About a 20 minute taxi ride away from nightlife, quite expensive! Ended up having to transfer hotels after 3 nights due to our safety being at risk. Would never visit this hotel again! Very pleased to leave it!! Pay a little more and go somewhere you can feel safe!!!!

Although the hotel is very nice in appearance, that is as far as it goes. Me and my friends booked a a week here, and had to transfer hotels due to being targetted and followed by locals. The hotel did not allow for me and my friends to have rooms next to each other although the rooms we ended up with had rooms avaliable next to each other. So are rooms were at the other ends of the hotel. The reception staff were not helpful and sent us to a bus stop that ended up being known for a spot of prostiution. Long story short this hotel is not suitable for young british people especially females! Even in times of help the hotel were not bothered nor prepared to help me group so we had to move to another hotel for safety!

Room Tip: Just dont!

I am reviewing the Lomeniz hotel on Peper street Rhodes town.A very good superior 3 star hotel, rooms spacious and very clean. We were on b&b basis and breakfast was very good, both continental style and cooked breakfast available. Staff very helpful and friendly, all rooms have good size balconies. The hotel is a 20min walk to the old town but buses run regularly from around the corner at a cost of 1 euro. I havent anything bad to say about this hotel and if I ever return to Rhodes Town would happily stay at the Lomeniz again.

Room Tip: All rooms are of a very good standard.

we booked this as a cheap one nighter as we waited for the caramaran to take us to Patmos the following day. Ok, it was no savoy but we paid less that thirty Eu's and for that it was palatial. The room was clean and agreeable. The shower worked well. The air conditioning was not great. It was controlled by the hotel and a bit limp. The major disappointment was that we could not find a socket anywhere to charge our mobiles and my for my wife to use her straightners. Also, its about 4k from the port and what i would call not a nice area. We did not consider walking around there at night. The pool we did not use so cant comment but others seem to be having a good time. The breakfast (yes, it was included in the price) was very good and there was loads of choice. Taxi from the port-about 5eu. As a stop over id reccomend it!
