“Great location in old town, friendly owner.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 June 2011

Wonderful little hotel in old town, close to Sofokleous Sq.. The owner even met our cab at the gate to bring us into the old town so we didn't have to pull our bags over the cobble streets He was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and very quiet, breakfast was good and included in price.

My wife and I stayed here in May, 2011, and loved it! Right in the heart of the Medieval town, away from all of the all inclusive resorts, away from all the hubub, but close to several good, varied and reasonably priced tavernas.
Mikalis, the owner is a very affable man, came to pick us up from our cab, (even though the cab driver refused to take us to the location Mikalis recommended). He drove out of his way to meet us where the cab driver decided was convenient!
Room was small, but comfy, the roof patio had a stunnig view of the town, and the garden downstairs was a pleasant place to enjoy breakfast.
The included breakfast is simple, but the bread fresh, (not always the case with continental breakfasts), and for the price, who can complain? There is a small market store about two blocks away with good priced on beer and the best price on Ouzo we found in the islands, and a drop off laundry in the same area. All in all a great place to stay and if we ever make it back to Rhodes, we will stay at Nikkis!

We stayed in 2 rooms. One is a room with balcony and the other without. The one with balcony is certainly better valued because of size and view. The other one is smaller with window opening against an alley. Both rooms were clean and simplistically decorated. The shower is not one of the best, nevertheless provided hot water.

Breakfast was a standard fare with bread, cake, boiled egg, coffee and juice and served at the garden. There is a rooftop (work in progress) for superb view over the old town.

The B&B is situated at the quieter southern part of the old town and easily accesible via St John's Gate. A stream of quality restaurant is 3 minutes walk away down the path from the B&B. I parked the car on the road outside the gate.

Recommended for a stay in the old town.

Room Tip: Take the upper floor room with balcony

This is an ideally located hotel in Rhodes.
The manager was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are large and even if not very sophisticated, nice.
The breakfast on the terrace is a nice experience and the view from the roofterrace breathtaking.

We booked 4 nights in May 2009 at the start of our island-hopping that year. Arrived at nearly midnight after delays at Rhodes airport, and taxi-driver dropping us at wrong gate. Made to feel immediately welcome. Room very comfortable. Michalis (the owner) very friendly and helpful - and chatty throughout our stay. Its been said in other reviews - but breakfast very good value.

We liked the hotel so much that we stayed there for two more nights on the holiday - once when passing through Rhodes, and once for the last night of our holiday.

If we are in Rhodes we will definitely try to stay at Niki,s again.

A great place to stay - especially given the price. NIKI’S hotel is located in the center of the Medieval Town in the heart of Rhodes! It was amazing to stay there!

The rooms are clean and big, with private toilet and bathroom, air condition, television set and refrigerator.
we have the wonderful view from our room balcony of the beauties in the Old Town! at the top of the hotel is a large roof garden - with even more spectacoulus view to the whole Old Tow of Rhodes!

Friendly atmosphere, great owner (breakfast was perfect) the best stay ever!

This was our third visit to Rhodes and to celebrate my 65th birthday we wanted to stay within Rhodes Old Town to soak up the atmosphere of this lovely place! The owner Michalis was very helpful from the start - when our taxi driver from the airport refused to enter the old town and dropped us at the wrong gate Michalis quickly responded to my 'phone call and picked us up within a few minutes! This was the start of a very enjoyable stay and although breakfast was the same every day we found that the freshness of all that we were given meant that we enjoyed every meal! The room although fairly basic was very comfortable with a terrific view of the old town from our window and the roof of the hotel provided somewhere to sit and also more photo opportunities. This was by far the best place that we have stayed on Rhodes and should we return in the future we would not consider staying anywhere else! We would also like to recommend the Island Lipsi Restaurant (18 Agisandrou, Old Town Rhodes) this is located in the first road after Street of the Knights when walking into Rhodes Old Town and you will receive a warm "Welcome" from Niki and her staff - it is a five minute walk from the hotel (not related to hotel in any way)
