If you like animals you'll love this place, they have a very laid back cat (see photo!) and a gorgeous dog called Lisa!! It's a pretty small but very cosy and eclectic bar just off the main thoroughfare. We had a cocktail and beer which were average price for Rhodes town. Server was friendly and service was good. Hope to get back before the end of our holiday.

A perfect place when walking in the old town in the evening and need a drink or something to eat. Friendly people and reasonable prices.

Located in a small area with some tavernas/restaurants, cafes and bars - not so busy as other parts of the old town. Nicely decorated outside and espessialy inside. Good music. Good greek coffe and ouzo. Nice staff.

Our flight to Rhodes from the UK arrives very late. Once we've dumped our luggage in our apartment, we head to the Raxati. On a warm night after hours of travelling that first ice cold beer is wonderful. There is always a friendly warm welcome from Georgia and we love the eccentric fun decor that includes antique sewing machines, music systems and other vintage bits and pieces. We often go there for a drink before going on to a meal. We love this bar and long may it continue.. Thank you!

I had some trouble finding the place because on google map it’s situated totally wrong! It’s easily found just off the Hippocrates Square, one or two blocks uphill to the left if you face land. A lovely old square with a mosque.
In my opinion this is a very cosy, quirky bar, different from most that you find today. Super cool mix of hits from the 60:s, jazz, blues and more. Thursdays a great live act with Greek music. Open late.
The landlady is great and knows you from your first visit.
Very mixed crowd; young and youngish Greek, courageous tourists of all ages. I sat next to a family with a ca 9 year old daughter, she danced in the street to the odd music and was overall the way you wish kids would always be.
The frappé with Bailey’s is the best! Didn’t try the snacks. Water pipes available. Probably forbidden in bars in most European countries.
I felt calm and happy in Raxati, a truly excellent place!
