Had a room with Diamond resorts (no 320).Good large apartment and fabulous sea view. Large enough balcony to sit and eat out with a lovely view overlooking the Turkish coast.. Once we had got used to the planes overhead it was perfect.. Lovely area to explore and as we hired a car we managed to see the whole of the Island.. Beautiful scenery and very cultural as well.. Plenty of ancient sites to explore...
Would consider a return visit

Just returned from a week here via an RCI timeshare exchange. We had a 1 bed apartment on the 3rd floor of Artemis block. The apartment was very well equipped and we were surprised to have a daily maid service including towel change. Good sized balcony and no problems with external noise. Mattress was a bit hard for me. We found reception really helpful - they gave us pool towels for 2Euro each (which we changed twice), bus times and stops to Rhodes Town, excisions and luggage storage/showers on our last day (late departure).

The pool for the Club was brilliant - the children's pool with all the slides was the other side of the hotel making the adult pool really quiet and no problems getting a subbed (nicely padded). Very large and deep and an exit to the beach. Beach is stony and quite stormy at this point but all the shops sell the swimming shoes quite cheap.

I read that some people had walked to Rhodes Town - I wouldn't recommend this. It took about 20 minutes by bus, the road was very busy and there were much nicer walks when you got to Rhodes Town. The bus stop is not just around the corner. I would allow 10 minutes to get there - longer if you don't walk fast.

Restaurants. Don't dismiss the ones on your doorstep just because they are so close. Zorba's did a very good value Meze - 9 dishes for 19.50Euro which included starters, mains and dips. You also got a free chocolate cake and ouzo! Very good Italian (can't remember the name but it was white with blue shutters) which we really liked as well. Restaurants don't offer much by way of deserts which helped the waistline.

Supermarkets. The one across the road was perfectly OK and we got salads, bread, wine and baguettes from them.

The resort is lively with lots of tourist shops, restaurants, bars, cafes and excision offices. Some were a bit tacky but that's half the fun of a holiday abroad.

We rented with RCI and stayed from 13-20 April (Passover and Easter). The hotel was just taking the sunbeds out by the sea and putting up umbrellas for the season, but we felt welcome and had everything we needed. Especially helpful was the rental car agency in the lobby. We found them flexible and accommodating and at a very reasonable rate. The staff were all kind and thoughtful and helpful. I would come again - anytime! The reason I'm only giving 4 stars is the lack of FULL equipment in the kitchen and some exercise equipment not in service, but I enjoyed our stay immensely! RCI in Israel, was not so helpful as they refused to call the hotel to request a handicapped hotel! Shame on you RCI Israel!

Room Tip: full sea view means no (and I mean NO) sun on the porch. You choose if that's a good thing or n...

My husband and I were here 6-13 April 2014. We booked with RCI and we were alloted room 322 overlooking the sea. Huge, clean unit big enough for 4 people. It was nice waking up in the morning with an amazing view.
They have well stocked Kitchenette. We had our Breakfast on the Balcony everyday. Staffs were very friendly especially the Receptionist and the Car rental agent. We got the Wi-fi for free, due to few guest perhaps. Strong wifi signal in our room for few days ( thanks to our unknown neighbor).
Car rental for three days was only 75 euro for a small car. Hubby and i drove around the Island. Absolutely beautiful!! Restaurant- couldn't comment as we always were always out. We tried Aspri Avli, recommended by another contributor. Beautiful Garden Restaurant that serves great food, generous portions at reasonable prices just 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
There were only few opened Restaurants/shops/hotels as it was just the start of the season.
This Resort is located on the windy side of Rhodes. If you like surfing, Ialyssos is the place to be.

Soon as we arrived was met with a very miserable lady on reception called Mikala!! Had a number of dealings with her and she continued to be moody and impatient. Room was ok, bit basic for my liking (found out later there was much more fancy rooms the floor above us!!) had very temperamental air con that was dripping all the time! Expensive for drinks and food and I felt the resort could do with some essential maintenance work. Lovely sea view from our balcony but we had a cockerel the other side that liked to sound off at the early hours. Would not recommend or ever go again.

Room Tip: Request a room sea view side not pool side

We stayed there second time as an RCI exchange in July. The apartements are spacious and we had a very beautiful seawiev from our balcony. I don't understand some complaints about the mosquitos. I have used to use electrical mosquitokillers and they work well.

The cleaning level had got the better way when the ownership changed to Diamond Resort. I hope that the Diamond Resort will develop the timeshare apps, now there is no wineglasses.
We took a half-board from the hotel and it was quite good, but not so good as I hoped. Next time we don't take halfboard, because the local small restaurants are also good.

The pool area is really near the sea and it is only for the club members. You can find free sunbeds also later.
