“Super value and good acomadation”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 July 2011

Just returned 20th july after a lovely holiday here Dont go if you dont like children at this time as it was full of under 6 year olds and was full but still had a super time

The rooms are clean and plenty of room lovely showers and the cleaning girls supply new towels every day so no complaints Food was fresh and plenty of it Really great to have cold drinks or coffee all day with snacks round the pool If you see how much things cost in the shops you wonder how they can do it Some people are very greedy and take more than they can eat and pile their plates shy high and then leave half of it makes you ashamed to be English when you see how many chips people let their children eat no wonder they are fat
The beach is worth a visit only a short walk and nice and clean really enjoyed the holiday

I returned to Filerimos in May for two weeks. This was my fifth visit. I am made so welcome there - it is like a second home. Met with friends from Britain and we all had a great time. The complex is beautiful - all well-established trees and shrubs. My apartment in the gardens is spacious, functional and cleaned every day. All the staff go out of their way to be more than helpful. Food is fine - has got better over the two years I've been there. The pastry/cake cook is superb - or so my sweet-toothed friends tell me. I do not speak Polish or German, but a smile is the same in any language.Surprised there aren't more Brits there - everyone I've ever met there has been really happy with their stay. Excellent value for money. I look forward to going back!!

Moved here by On The Beach had booked and paid for 5*AI this was not comparable. The room, resteraunt, pool area, bar, toilets were disgustingly dirty. The food was inedible and the hotel was by no means All Inclusive as food and drink were only available during certain times of the day and your choises were limited. We had to eat out every day as the only thing on offer for our small children was dried out hard chips. We were checked up on and marked off a register each time we ventured into the dining room and members of staff monitored how many drinks you helped yourself to. The soft drinks were warm and the beer was often unavailable. We arrived at 4.30 in the morning after a long journey, as well as being told there were no rooms available at the hotel we had booked, when we asked if the fridge in the room had pleanty of bottled water in it the man on reception laughed and said no. I asked if I could buy some, he went off in search of some but came back and said that ther was only his water there and all the bottles were open. It was 9am that morning before the shop opened and we could buy some. Things went down hill from there!

A basic 3* stars hotel. Nothing more, nothing less. The room was huge - we had an appartment in the main bulding - but very basic.
The furniture was 20 - 25 years old. They cleaned our room daily, but the sheets were old. Clean, but old.
The food was terrible. Really uneatible. If you go, try to not take the all inclusive, if possible. We chose to eat somewhere else, althought we had the all-inclusive package.
The air-con was pretty expensive and not included in the room rate. Also the safe was not in the room and not included in the price.
The soft drinks were OK.
The location - close to the beach - 10 minute walking.
Pools - great , clean, but busy all the time. We never got a chair near the pool before 4 PM. In the morning, at 8 o'clock, everything was full. And there were wasps around the pools, a real danger for the kids.
Entertainement - missing.
Would not go again, no matter the deal.

When I read some of reviews on the Filerimos I can't believe it's the same hotel I stay at. i've stayed 4* and 5* hotels in Rhodes and athough very good they happen to be very expensive. The Filerimos is a basic 3* hotel and the very reasonable price you pay reflects this, however the grounds are extensive and lovely and kept very tidy by a team of gardeners. The 3 main swimming pools and the paddling pool are cleaned every day as are your bedrooms and all the rest of the hotel, the reception staff speak English and are always most helpful.Tina the general manager is always on hand and is very approachable if you should have a problem.Last but not least the food, yes it is mainly Greek and yes their veg tend to be cold, but that's the Greek way and Rhodes is Greek island. There is always a mixture of meat, fish, salads ect so there should be something for everyone and the sweets and fruit are always good.I've stayed at the Filerimos several times and hope to return next year so if it's value for money you want in a basic 3* hotel you will never get a better deal than the Filerimos.
