The first look at the hotel isn't too appealing to be fair but once inside it does improve. We were tired when we arrived but the receptionist was efficient not quite friendly, she gave us the key to room 730 and with the barest of instructions on how to reach it she sent us on our way. The signposts were ok so didn't get too lost!! As soon as we entered the room our faces dropped... the room was tiny and at first glance I found the bathroom had only a toilet and a sink...I looked elsewhere and couldn't find anywhere else for the shower/bath we had been promised and had paid for.?? By this time my husband was getting quite wound up because the stains on the mattress could be seen through the sheets!!! I gave the bathroom another look and found that the shower was behind the door in the bathroom... it measured 3 tiles deep by 6 tiles wide??!! there was no shower curtain or shower door??? My husband said he wasn't happy as he's a big lad and would struggle to use the shower and he wasn't sleeping on that mattress so we went down to reception....this time the lady was a little frostier than before and said we would have to go back at 10 in the morning and she would see what she could do?! we returned to the room and I turned the mattress over which was a slight improvement and covered it with a blanket before replacing the sheet...now my hubby and myself do tend to be push overs at times and after a reasonable night we decided to stay where we were as the pool was right outside and we weren't far from the dinning room...after looking round the complex we realised that we could have been put miles away or in a room with the carpark view!!! so being the nice people we are (read idiots!) we went to tell the receptionist ..yes the same one... and said we were sorry for complaining...she actually made us feel that so we should be and to stop being a nuisance!!! during our stay we found out that we were the 3rd lot of English visitors to complain that day and the others had been moved ON to our block!!! to tell the truth apart from the shower we had a great time and the complex is lovely... that receptionist never spoke to us again but no loss!! we wouldn't visit this hotel again and would just warn if you do go stay away from room 730 at all costs!!! if you're given that key throw a tantrum do anything but don't accept that room...the others on the block are all fine apparently ...we're just lucky I guess lol. The couple that run the shop at the end of the driveway are lovely and friendly and if they don't have what you want they will get it if they can..really nice people. We always found something to eat but be careful what you order by the pool because most of the food is not included in the all inclusive program!!!
