Me and my boyfriend have just got back from this hotel, the rooms are basic but clean and the pool area is nice however the major let down is the nightime entertainment and the food & drink. We paid for all inclusive however this only supplied a limited drink selection, (cheap weak vodka, soft drinks, beer and wine), we asked for diet coke as my boyfriend is diabetic however they would not supply this free of charge, instead we had to pay for this separatley. The food was horrendous, very repetitive and at times the meat was still raw! We felt ill on the second day therefore refused to eat from the buffet and instead had to buy extra food from the pool bar which again was limited in choice. Food was nice from the pool bar however as the menu was limited this became repetitive.

Overall, we will not be visiting this hotel again, I would suggest to not bother paying for the all inclusive as we found we spent more compensating for the food and drink.

13 of us went, and none of us want to return!!! Anything good in this place costs extra money. ie: Air Con costs 42 euro per room, burgers, kebabs, even drinks in the main bar you wil have to pay more more more! Your All Inclusive does not cover you and they charge like the Gordon Highlanders!!!! We would return to Rhodes as its a fantastic Island, but not this hotel. The kids were even refused ice in their drinks, yet when i went to the bar i got ice with mine! 2 euro for ice cream for kids and when asked for double scoop the just made another cone and stuck it on top of the first. This guy was ignorant, but we found it quite funny and laughed it off. We ended up going out for meals and drinks which defeats the purpose of All Inclusive.

Room Tip: stay off bottom floor

13 of us arrived at 11:30pm in reception to find it empty. 40 minutes later an attendant arrived to check us in, offering no explanation to the delay. Although we were all inclusive, we had to fork out another 42 euro per room(4rooms) for "air con"! Con right enough as it was very hot and we couldnt cope without it. As for the food, i can promise you now its not very good, i am easy pleased and am willing to try most things but there were very few meals any of us enjoyed. If you want Ai drinks you must go to the pool bar, even at night. The main bar has some entertainment but you need to pay for all drinks. There are no burgers, hot dogs, chips, pizza or crisps that you would expect for kids snacks and they even need to pay for any ice cream. The soft drinks are rotten and we ended up going out for meals and paying for drinks. The hotel is very basic the staff not very nice, food and drinks stink, only plus was pools are good. We all agree we would return to Rhodes but not this hotel !!!!!! worst All inclusive yet !!!!!!!

Room Tip: Stay off bottom floor or choose another hotel!

We arrived at the (4 star) hotel and were absolutely shocked at how different the place is compared to the professional photos. The hotel is nowhere near the sea and there definitely isn't a sea view. Everywhere is very, very old and run down (beyond belief). We went to check in and were asked to add 6 Euro for air conditioning which was very cheeky considering we had paid for an all inclusive package and a 4* hotel.

After opening the door to our room, we felt like we were in the middle of a nightmare! Again, absolutely nothing like ANY of the photos that they advertise with. The room wasn't even close to the standard of the cheapest youth hostel you've ever been to. There were ants everywhere, the bathroom door was broken, there was no shampoo, soap, etc (not included in their service apparently), the towels had dirty brown stains all over them, everything was old and worn out, and worst of all, the bed was the cheapest, most uncomfortable thing you could imagine. It was like a park bench with a folded piece of cardboard as a pillow.

We couldn't bare to stay in the room (we were so depressed at this point) so we decided to take up the offer of the receptionist to get something to eat at the snack bar near the pool. We came to a 1970s-80s pool shack with a makeshift bar and asked about the snacks. The barman pointed to a table no bigger than 1 meter squared. There were literally 2 trays of stale sponge cake crumbs (no actual pieces of cake) and an tray with what looked like egg mixed with tinned peas and carrot that had been baked in the oven. Yuck! Food in the dining room was slightly better.

Long story short, we wanted to checkout 2 days earlier than we had booked. The receptionist wouldn't look at me when I was speaking to her and the manager walked back to his office half way in to explaining the issues/expectations. I was told that no refund was possible and that I should go somewhere else.

Oh and it's far away, so you'll spend loads of time and money getting out of there to go places... Staying in the hotel isn't really an option considering the conditions.

Sorry no photos... we were too desperate (and depressed) to get away from there!

My wife and I were very pleased with Fileramous Village Hotel. Pristine gardens and flower beds - beautifully laid out...Very friendly and accommodating staff...Clean and regularly being attended...you pay extra for A/C as you need @ 6Euro/nite...decent variety at lunch & dinner - enough food - good breakfast...2 pools were clean and attended to each morning...bring your own beach/pool towel...mini market next door with good variety of goods...excellent place for family atmosphere...30 minute bus ride to old Rhodes town - very convenient...a 10 minute walk from the west side beach...

Room Tip: get a room on the back side of the hotel...plan on A/C on the humid, hot nights...it's worth the...

It's a three star hotel alright, so you cannot expect luxury, but dirty rooms, bed linen and broken beds cannot just cannot be found in any hotels, even the budget ones.
The food was just bad, I got even food poisoned. The wine and drinks aren't tasty. The manager looks at you as you where about to steal something every time you walk from the restaurant...
I guess an advantage of this place are swimming pools but I usually don't use them as I prefer the beach. I know the hotel is dealing with some economic issues, struggling to survive, but I can't recommend it to anybody. It must have been a great place, back in the seventies. Today, I guess it's better to stay somewhere near Lindos...
