We have just come back from our first stay at the filerimos and we really enjoyed it, but there were ups and downs to the stay, upon arrival 12.20(midnight) we were informed that there was no food/drinks available nothing close by and we would have to get a taxi into rhodes at a cost of €15 there and €15 back we were not happy the hotel knew we were arriving surely there should be something available as we had paid for all inclusive! We got to the room were we found we had two single beds and we had booked double we were disappointed! Might I add these were the noisiest most uncomfortable beds I have ever stayed in( I don't exaggerate) the rooms are nice and big but rather dated and drab a lick of paint and new curtains/tv would make a massive difference, upon arrival we were approached by the animation team they were full of advice and energy and really made us feel at home, the best part of the stay would have to be the staff the restaurant staff were great and helpful especially john who always went out of his way to help, bar men costa and illyos (not sure how to spell) were great really made us feel at home, but most of all the animation team were the highlight of the holiday as not many members of staff could speak much English and all guests were French they really helped us and gave us advice there shows were great and activities for all ages, on their day off(Sunday) the hotel was boring!! we would consider returning to the hotel mainly to see the animation team again! The food wasn't to our taste most meals were laced with cinnamon, and it was very repetitive breakfast was good though, and none of the food had signs on so you had to guess what you were eating! the snack bar for all inclusive by the pool is none existent unless you count stale biscuits, all other food burgers etc you have to pay for NOT ALLINCLUSIVE! So if you miss a meal snack bar is useless, not a very good selection of drinks infact the worst I have ever seen on all-inclusive no whiskey no Malibu no snaps no juice! never have I had to pay €3 for fruit juice on all inclusive and the bar shuts at 11 not the usual 12! The grounds of the hotel are fabulous the pools are great the beach is just a 10 min walk and bus to rhodes stops outside, all in all the staff made our stay fantastic the hotel could do with a bit of tlc but it's good value for money, but it is geared to the majority the French we hope to return
