we received a very poor room, with a lot of noise from the neighbours (you can hear all the talking not to mention shouting).
the food has very few choices.
you have to walk a lot in order to get to the main road in order to catch a bus.
when you rent a car through the hotel you can get it with no fuel and you need to fill it up but when you bring back the car you wont get the extra fuel money worth back (its a very clever way to blackmail tourists).
the jets route is just above the hotel and every couple of minutes you get a very strong noise of jets on their way to land (very hard to sleep this way).
in each and every problem i faced the stuff to receive some help - i didnt get nothing more than a bad attitude- it looked like they were glad they got the money and now they just dont care...
i must say - i believe i would have enjoyed rhodes very much, but this bad experience with Electra Palace Hotel made it exactly the opposite in a way i dont think ill visit there ever again!

Rishon Lezion – Electra Palace, Rhodes August 30 – September 6. A fabulous resort right on the beach, beautiful gardens and feeling of space at pool and plenty of shade and sun lounges. Spa has indoor pool and Jacuzzi outside in the gardens near the main bar not a good location. It is very windy and although temperatures 30 degrees didn’t feel humidity and heat. Breakfast delicious and lunch/dinner very good we counted a variety of 8 meat dishes also grilled meat and fish. Food quality and presentation excellent so didn’t avail of the Italian and Chinese restaurant. Help yourself to red/white wine, beer or beverages at meal times. Waiters very efficient and no problem waiting for tables. Afternoon tea with variety of cakes and pre dinner tasty vol au vents snacks and sandwiches. We had a junior suite, very spacious and spotless. The Italian restaurant serves a late breakfast and coffee and drinks all day located near the pool a nice place to sit and relax. Rooms have double glazing windows and didn’t hear the planes at night. In fact it was interesting to see the planes during the day. All personnel very friendly and always greeted us with a smile. Entertainment every evening some groups quite monotonous. The best night was the famous Colorado rock band and a piano evening in the main bar which was superb. It is one of the best resorts in the area as most have to cross the main road to the beach. The best all inclusive hotel we visited. We would definitely love to spend another holiday in this hotel.

Room Tip: Sea view room so relaxing to sit in the balcony and watch the beautiful Agean sea and Turkish mountains in the distance.

Would definitely recommend. Accommodation was fab. Maid in every day and room cleaned to a high standard.

Reception staff extremely helpful.

Pool area fab, and for the first time on a holiday no sunbed wars!!!!! We went in the middle of August and could stroll down to the pool whenever we were ready, there were always loads of bed available.

On site shop open until 10pm every day, sells everything you need. A couple of shops opposite hotel too. Nice bar opp hotel with free wi fi.

Food good, restaurant busy and a little noisy. Men are not permitted to wear shorts in the restaurant for dinner - you have been warned - she will not let you in if you are wearing them!!

Italian & Chinese restaurants were good and made a change from busy buffet restaurant.

Kid Club was OK, my youngest (6yrs) used it twice. Evening entertainment a bit lame, but better than nothing.

Short 15 min journey time from airport - great with young kids.

Would definitely return.

Keeping this very short but sweet!!!! EVERYTHING fantabulous!!! Went in May half term with friends and I want to go back NOW!!!!!!! The hotel spotless, food great, staff very friendly. A lovely quiet relaxing place to go. Very pretty surroundings and not far from Rhodes town. Didn't visit the Spa but it looked really nice when we went for a wander.

Room Tip: Choose pool view!!!!
