This place is in great need of help or a buldozer !
Our family room was a single room with three beds squeezed in which were disgusting condition. the bath room was tiny. Shall i mention the food it is disgusting.
I am a vegetarian all of the salad had ham or bacon through it every day was the same thing.
This is NOT ALLINCLUSIVE the snacks were only available at the Blue Bay across the road and it was left overs from lunch. Sunland had nothing, Thomas Cook rep useless kept saying nothing he could do . no sunbeds all saved before dawn three hotels share this properties amenaties so no wonder.Staff are rud specialy the receptionist in Blue Bay E****A i wanted to punch her. Our rep never helped us at all and he already knew we were going to complain. The food is crap chips and spagetti every day raw boiled eggs for breakfast (you could pour them out the shell) disgusting. There was a fire at Blue Bay we were told staff did not want to sound alarms. My daughter was attacked by a dog in the hotel grounds the security guard at the Blue Bay was brilliant. Lots of rude people very rough place will never go here again and have got about a six page letter of complaint fot Thomas cook.

Salient points from our visit can be summarised as follows;
Food is AWFUL and you need to budget to eat out once every few days.
Rooms and bedding are old and dirty.
Entertainment at the adjacent BlueBay is OK if you are under 10,almost non existent for the older traveller.
This Hotel is in the sticks and you need to budget for travelling out.
We will NEVER go back , truly awful hotel in almost all respects.
Not helped by the incompetent Thomas Cook representative.

We arrived at the hotel in the middle of the night following a 3 hour delay. The rep got of the coach and started to walk us down a dark dirt track then stopped because she was “scared to go any further”. She indicated that the hotel was at the bottom and left us to continue dragging our suitcases along the dirt road to the hotel entrance. The night porter was not very helpful and when asked were we could get water he said restaurant 7.30am.

We finally got to bed at 6am and were woken by the sound of airplanes taking off. The aircraft noise is awful and constant they are so close you can read the airline on the side. Ideal for those who like plane spotting, on the Sunday morning we counted 20 in one hour.

The room was quite clean but in need of repair. The shower was off the wall, (when we informed the rep he said it was a Greek shower (what rubbish), the air conditioning (for what it was worth) was broke and we had to report it 3 times before it was fixed, the 3rd bed is a concrete slab with a very thin mattress on it so is quite uncomfortable to sleep on and the fridg was just below room temperature. The balcony was very small and we later discovered it was damaged underneath and coming away from the wall.

The pool area was tidy although in need of repair. The bridge over the pool is damaged, planks of loose wood hover above swimmers below. The pool was never cleaned.

The food was VILE!!! and was brought over from the sister hotel on the back of an open truck. This is also the same truck that picks up the rubbish and waste paper from the toilets in the hotel.

The hotel is situated in the middle of nowhere land with a few hotels and one small bar (which we went to each evening to eat). We were told that we could use facilities at the sister hotel The Blue Bay" but we found that the guests (including all inclusive) from The Sunland have to pay 10 Euros for adults and 5 Euros for children to the water park, 3 Euros each to use the sunbeds and pay for drinks at the main bar. When we questioned the rep about charges he told us that the guests at The Blue Bay had paid a lot more money than us. When speaking to guests we found this not to be true. The Sunland has no entertainment to talk about, and by the time we went out for our evening meal, we were not able to gain seats at the Blue Bay.

PLEASE spend your money wisely and find a better hotel

This was a terrible holiday especially as we had booked a different hotel but were moved on arrival at the airport. The hotel is in a very distressed state and desperately needs basic repairs and maintainance done. The beds have sheets that only cover 75% of the mattress that is obviously years old and need replacing. Filled in a 5 page complaints form for the Thomas Cook rep and flew home a week early. The planes are so low that you get a downdraft every time one comes in and they arrive at about 18 per hour. The food was poor at best and often meant that you had to eat out probably once a day.

we stayed in the sunland for 10 days food wasn't all that good the room we had was under reception but only noise we had was early evening as people was getting ready for there evening meal. We have never seen so many ants got up many morning having and floor covered with them. Room was a nice size but fixtures and fittings needed fixing and fitting. all the entertainment was catered for the Germans, Dutch, Czech, We had to go over to the Blue Bay Hotel to be entertained and involved. The entainment at the Blue Bay was amazing Billy and his team excellent unable to fault. Would go back but not to this Hotel if you going or thinking of going make sure you get the blue bay.
