Myself and my partner returned from the Forum Beach on 5th July. We were a bit apprehensive after reading all the negative reviews but we needn't have worried.

Reception staff were very helpful with a quick check-in. Our room was not one of the renovated ones but needless to say it was very clean and to a high standard. We did see a newly decorated room which was very nice. You have the option to upgrade to a superior room for an extra 20 euros a night but we were happy with the allocated. Nice pool view on the 2nd floor.

3 pools all very cleaned with plenty of sunbeds so no need to get up at the crack of dawn to reserve one. There is also another pool at the back of the hotel but it is not clearly signposted so was not sure if it belonged to the Forum Beach or the neighbouring hotel. There is a spa which you recieve discount vouchers but it was closed when we were there which was a shame as all the services were reasonable priced.

Food was very nice but not alot of choice. Snack bar was also very nice serving a selection of filled rolls, salad and pastas. If possible have a pizza which are made whlst you wait, they are to die for.

All staff were very nice and helpful. Alcoholic spirits (in my opinion) are watered down ALOT but the beer was not too bad.
Beach is literally 2 mins across the road with allocated beds for Forum Beach customers but there is no sand just pebbles, alot of pebbles.

A selection of shops, restaurants and tavernas are only a 5 min stroll up the road.
My only negative point about the hotel is the entertainment.....TERRIBLE!!!! Mini disco is as far as the entertainment goes and like previous reviews, the birdie song isn't something I want to listen to every night!

Beware of mosquitos, take repellant.....ALOT of repellant. My poor legs are still showing signs of being bitten too death :(

Overall, a very enjoyable holiday and would defineatly go back.

We had a fabolous week in late May at the Forum beach. Not to many guests. A lot of space at the pool area, in the restaurant, and at the bar.

We have Just come back from the Hotel. We spend one week in the Forum Beach Hotel-Rodos.
It was one of the best weeks I had with my family. The hotel is very good it's all inclusive. The food is delicious. The important thing is that the hotel staff, guest relations office and the waiters are very kind, lovely, hospitality. The pools are very clean, also the rooms are clean, well done tidy. They have a mini disco for the children and later they animation team make a show for the visitors.
We noticed that the whole crew work hard and they are like a big family.
Really we had a very very beautiful week in the Forum Beach Hotel.
Go and Visit hhh

I Just came back about 3 hours ago, but I must share my experience:
this hotel has the best service I have ever seen. all the emplyees are nice and helpful, they are really happy to give answers and always with a SMILE. just great (have to mention the receptionists, all very very nice)!
Less I liked the food and the room clean, but it did not affect my stay so much, I believe I will be back there.also, it is a bit far from center, but if you dont mind walking 20 minutes, than everything is OK...
I was there with a friend, but this hotel is super for families, pools, and activities for kids during the day and even at night (every night....!) with the funny kimo.
so, as you can understand, I liked it a lot, it was a good vacation.

We have just got back from the Forum Beach, end of June /beginning July. We used to do beach holidays all the time, the children grew up. moved away, we got out of touch. But this week has been a good refreshing break, for two in their early 60's.
We had a top floor apartment max 3 floors overlooking the one of three pools in the main complex. It was larger than the usual holiday rooms, this had a kitchen diner with two extra single beds ideal for families. Although the hotel is all inclusive now, i would think it's too expensive to convert to a proper lounge type area, in saying that you can upgrade your room to a superior for an extra 20 euros a night.
The only two minus points on our side was that the entertainment in the evening was poor mainly catering for the children in the form of a mini disco everynight, when you've heard the birdie song once it's ok but not every night, theres not really much more for the adults.
And the second warning is if you dont know Rhodes the beaches are pebbles large and small, really painful for swimming, take some form of beach shoe, although doing some research now with the usual sites here, they are just about the same price in the supermarkets down the street from the hotel.
The food was good, plenty of it and very clean, the restuarant Manager has his staff well trained. The choice of all inclusive drinks and cocktails are of local brands but plentiful.
On the whole you should come home feeling refreshed, but for us a week was enough.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the pools can be noisy, there is a smaller block just across the street overlookin...

My friend and I stayed here last week in June, and had a very relaxing and enjoyable time.
Please note the 4 out of 5 is based on expectation and value for money; this was a cheap holiday, and is no way a 4* hotel (maybe 2/3* max)

Room; the room was one of the ones that hadn't been renovated, however it was clean and serviceable. The furniture was a bit tired, but the Aircon was good, and the sheets and towels were changed regularly. The refurbished rooms looked very nice, but our room was good enough to not warrant asking for a move to one.

We were in the block with "views" over the back of the hotel (look down and you see the dirty laundry), but look out and it is not unpleasant. We didn't suffer from any of the nasty smells from outside that I have heard mentioned on previous reviews. All in all, perfectly acceptable for the amount of time we spent in there.

There are mosquitos so take the plug in repellant and stuff to spray on yourself - everyone got attacked one night.

Facilities; the three main pools were clean and tidy, and there was always a sun bed to be had. The adults only pool area was empty whenever I walked past, which we would have used if it had been too rowdy by the main pools. This never occurred though. (I think the pool was empty because it isn't 100% clear that it belongs to the hotel - no signs at all).

The pool bar and swim up bar were open all day with (yes, probably watered down or weak) drinks. The wine and local beer were nice, and the cocktails were good also. The snack bar was open from 11 til 5 with lovely salads, filled rolls etc. Pizza oven was open from 12 - 4 and was very good too.

Main restaurant; this didn't have a huge amount of choice, as they were catering for a much smaller group than I have seen in other AI facilities. However, what they lacked in choice they made up for in taste, with fresh salad, 2 or 3 meat dishes, 1 fish dish, 1 roasted meat joint carvery style, and a different pasta dish every night. A good selection of cooked veg, although a bit overcooked at times. The poor part was the desserts, which had no real thought to them (jelly and ice cream basically) except on "greek" night (baklava - heaven!)

One thing to note if you are taking kids with you; they don't have the usual endless supply of burgers and chicken nuggets like most AI, in fact I didn't see a chip all week. This didn't seem to be a problem for the european guests as their (very well behaved) children were happily eating the same food as the adults.
(I have been there with a grumpy step son who would eat nothing else but junk so I'm not judging - just warning!)

Staff; hmm, not sure how to say this, particularly after reading all the other positive reviews. Restaurant staff were always in a hurry to get you out before closing time, and were not exactly smiley faced. Bar staff rarely cracked a smile either. I would like to give them the benefit of the doubt and guess they were on minimum wage and wouldn't get overtime; however the odd smile wouldn't have killed them!
Just to clarify they did the job fine - my only complaint was they were thoroughly miserable about it the entire time.
The cleaners / chambermaids / glass collectors (daytime) were much more cheerful, and always had a hello for you, as did the entertainment staff, who were very friendly and about all day chatting (between activities).

Which brings me to the entertainment .............. OH DEAR! Don't want to slag the team off as they were lovely people, however the entertainment was abysmal, humiliating the people picked from the audience being the name of the game. Not my bag at all.
The pool bar was also open if you wanted to be away from it, but was very quiet.
The town is only a 5/10 minute walk away if you wanted to get out, and the restaurants were very cheap (and good)

To summarise: don't go here if you want to be entertained in the evening for free, but if you want a quiet relaxing holiday, with nice food and drink on a budget this will do nicely.

Room Tip: the refurbished (nicer) rooms are in the main block (with the restaurant in it), and the block oppos...

We came back a week ago from Rhodes, where we stayed in Forum Beach Hotel. After a week spent there we can only say that it was the best holiday we have ever had. We have been to Greece many times but this holiday was very special. Starting from food which was delicious(we had all inclusive), served from the very beginning of the day till 11 p.m., through a very nice staff always smiling even by hard work in 40 degrees, and ending on marvellous area, the hotel was situated in(1 minute to the sea). One thing we had to fight with, were mosquitos, however after using air conditioning we had no problems anymore. One advice we would like to give concerns the city of Rhodes, which you can reach in 15 minutes by taxi(14 EUR), please mind the prices in restaurants and in the shop. In the very heart of Rhodes there are many restaurants on the roof which are very expensive for foreigners, we spent 50 EUR for 3 beers, one glass of wine, pizza and sprite-the bill was corrected by hand and we paid 7 EUR too much. Also the small very lovely jewellery is more expensive as in the city where the hotel is situated. So it is really advisible to visit the town as it is gordious(especially the old town) but it is better to take drinks with yourself. Many many greetings to the whole staff of the Hotel-we wish you a lot of susscess and hopefully see you next time:)!Edmund, Kasia, Magda, Julia and Patrycja
