Stayed at this hotel from 4th to 18th June hotel in lovely location right on the beach, Rooms cleaned daily staff in restaurant and bars are very friendly and worked very hard and always had a smile and welcome for you.Special mention to Cerys, Keith and Lucy on the Animation team always friendly and helpful although I got the impression the other Animation team didnt treat them very well cos they Brits and British guests in minority at this hotel.Would I go back probably not.

Really enjoyed our second stay at this hotel. Great food, drinks and entertainment. The animation team work really hard to get everyone involved but aren't overly pushy if you just want to chill. Would definitely recomend the hotel and will probably go again ourselves.

Arrived here on 12th May for 10 nights and had an absolutely amazing time! On arrival we were greeted by a lovely receptionist Maria who gave us a beautiful sea view room in the first block. These are lovely renovated rooms and after speaking to other people, a lot better than the blocks towards the back of the complex.

The food was amazing for an all inclusive hotel- a massive variety - paticularly loved the Greek and Mexican night in the restaurant. You can book to eat in the Greek and Italian restaurant once during your stay but i wouldn't really recommend it as the food in the main restaurant is MUCH nicer- although ok for a change. There is also a snack bar next to the pool which is open 12-4 serving pizza, chips, icecream etc.

Stunning hotel and stunning location- there is plenty of shops/bars outside of the hotel and you can get a taxi for around 12 euros to Rhodes Town. Would deffo recommend getting a taxi to the hotel from airport as we made the mistake of getting a transfer which we were on for about 45 minutes and then went PAST the airport again( they had took 2 people to the opposite side of the island and then the rest of us the other side!) completely ridiculous took about an hour and a half overall and a taxi would have only cost 15 euros.

And of course the best part of the hotel is the ANIMATION TEAM- Rio, Andy, Lucy, Cerys, Kassey, Laura, Keith and Nemo are AMAZING :) Completely made our holiday- they make a massive effort to get everyone involved and getting to know each guest . This hotel would be nothing without them - they will make your holiday. They put on some fantastic shows and this was at the start on the season so I am sure they have much more up their sleeves! We particularly enjoyed the Abba rendition by Lucy - haha!

Will definitely return- Tracey and Lauren x

We have two boys aged 9 & 6 and went to this hotel from 27 may to 5 june. We all loved this hotel. We had a family room which was really spacious with 2 balconies overlooking the gardens. The hotel grounds are huge with a wide range of places to sit and all with the beach on your doorstep. Great food, helpful staff and a BRILLIANT animation team, the best we have ever had! They are funny, talented and really friendly. Special mention to Rio, Lucy and Keith who were great. I would recommend this hotel to any family.

Room Tip: Our family room was spacious and quiet with a garden view.

We spent two wonderful weeks in May at this great hotel with fantastic location close to the private beach, close walking distance to the shops and bars. The hotel was nice and clean, with good service, gorgeous garden and a funny creative animation team. The check in was quick, reception and all staff were very helpful, when you meet any problems, solve everything in a fast. The food was good and choice was great for everyone, main restaurant and bars staff was very friendly.
We had a superior room, it was new renovated, spacious, tidy and comfortable with nice sea and pool view, private furniture balcony.
The private beach is beautiful and the pools were all lovely. We had no problem with getting sun loungers on the beach or around the pool in the early morning. The Aegean Sea is clear but sometimes was windy at the beach.
A/C wasn't working till 1st June, air temperature was about 27° - 30°C or more. Sometimes was noisy at the night, that disturb to sleep with open windows. There was evening entertainment every night at the pool bar, if you want a quiet hotel this is not it!
We had rent a car directly in the hotel, the service was great, and visited several surrounding places of Rhodes Island, west and east coast. Rhodes is a very nice and landscape Island with different beaches and beautiful views, mountains interspersed with plains. We also took the bus that stops near to the hotel (10 min walking, depart every 15 min) and went to Rhodes town and got to know historical places and port area. Highly recommend travel to Simi Island from Rhodes town by ferry.
We have enjoyed the atmosphere in this hotel and beach.

Room Tip: Supperior rooms with sea view are really renovated and comfortable

We are a family of 4 and have just returned from an all inclusive holiday in Rhodes. We had booked to stay at the Sunshine Rhodes for May half term way back in January 2014, however 4 days before we were due to leave for our holiday we were informed that the hotel had overbooked their rooms and we were going to be moved to a nearby hotel. On contacting the hotel they confirm this to be true but with the defence that we weren't the only people affected and that it was happening to a lot of people!!! Was it a coincidence that 7 weeks after we had booked, that the price to stay at the hotel had quadrupled, obviously not. It was far more beneficial for the hotel to bump out the people who had booked early and therefore paid a lower rate whilst retaining the travellers paying at the later more expensive rate. Once conceding that we had no option but to accept the alternative accommodation (it was that or simply a refund of the accommodation payment) it was no surprise to see that most of the other travellers at the alternative hotel had also booked to stay at the Sunshine Rhodes, some only finding out of the change on arrival! Whilst speaking to a group of people who had be moved on arrival they informed us that we were "better off out of it" as coach loads of tourists were turning up to the hotel and it was busting at the seams! So if you are planning to book this this hotel, BEWARE that you might not actually get to stay there!

Everything was perfect.
The food was gorgeous and there was a massive variety. The resort is very big and therefore lots to do like the gym, volley ball, basketball, tennis, minigolf, waterpolo etc at no extra cost.
Hotel room was very nice, modern and clean. Not a bad word to say.
