Great holiday! One of the best hotels I've ever been in Greece. All very clean, great meals (although tends to repeat a bit), bit of entertainment, all the little details that make your holiday comfortable….Little bit sleepy around, more for families I'd say. Beach clean and beautiful although sea surprisingly freezing :)…Pools big, clean and great fun!

Room Tip: Did not have the sea view, our room was in the main building, but no problem/complaints at all.

We visited Sentido (last year still called Sensimar) Port Royal in May 2012. I have to say that we were very impressed from the very start of our visit. The reception has a great view, clean, spacious, with a welcome drink prepared when we booked into our room. The complex is nicely spread out around the main pool area which was kept in perfect condition. The main building provided a very nice dining room with plenty of seat outside with a beautiful view of the pool and sea in the background. The staff was very friendly at all times, making you feel very welcome during our stay. Dinner was great with a wide variety and selection of warm and cold dishes, including local sweets and fresh fruits. Our room was spacious and kept clean all the time. Even with a baby cot in the room, there was plenty of space for everything. The mattress could be a bit softer in my personal preference, otherwise we were very happy with everything else.

The location is close to the main street in Kolymbia with easy access to many shops and restaurants to visit. Great for an afternoon stroll and finding a good snack to eat. We decided to rent a car for 3 days which was a great experience, traveling to Rhodes, and other cities on the island, even going on a one day trip to Turkey from the main harbor in Rhodes.

I can definitely recommend the hotel as a very nice stay for a relaxing holiday. We stayed for 12 days with a 1 year old child and can say we were very happy with the whole experience.

My husband and I stayed at Sentido Port Royal for 2 weeks in the beginning of September (1.09.13-14.09.13) and had a wonderful time!
We arrived early - around 9 am and that was the only drawback as our room was still not vacant and we had to wait until 1 pm to get placed. The time was shortned by the fact that the frontdesk offered us breakfast at the main restaurant, so after cool and rainy Moscow weather we enjoyed some sun at the open terrace of the restaurant.
Rooms are modern and well furnished, a bottle of local white wine and some fruits were waiting for us inside. Bathrooms are nice as well, with a designer touch in each small detail.
We were lucky - the weather was hot all 2 weeks, but we had the feeling the season was starting to get low.
The hotel was fully booked, we wanted to pay extra and change for a sew view villa, but they all are booked far in advance, so we kept our part pool side/garden view room.
Food was amazing: always fresh and plenty of choices. In the morning you can prepare a coffee greek-style yourself which makes it fun :) Also lots of bakery, fruits, vergetables, 3-4 kinds of meat AND fish every day, so everybody can find something for himself. We had HB - breakfast and dinner and that was plenty :) Several times we walked to the village for lunch and the portinons at the local restaurants are SO HUGE that we had to split even the salads :)
We didn;t like the entrance into the sea from the hotel side - it isn't the one for a 5 star hotel, but what we suspect is they all are not private, so it might not be the fault of the hotel. The entrance is stony, so you will need special shoes to enjoy.
We mainly stayed near the pool as the views are so nice there and the beds are far more comfortable.
The hotel is 16 +, so there is not much animation or activities, which we found awesome. Live music every night and some fitness programms during the day that are not tiring :)
The location is good, although we still took a car for rent to enjoy the views of the island and the Rhodos city. The hotel car rent company is nice but we preffered Rhodos cars across the street as we wanted a cabrio and they had a fantastic VW Beetle.
Would definetely recommend this hotel for couples with a need to enjoy themselves and explore the island :)

I visited Sentido Port Royal Villas & Spa for one week with my girlfriend and had a very nice holiday.

When we arrived, we were greeted by reception staff with drinks. The reception area is very quiet and clean.

We were taken to our room on an electric buddy/cart and was shown around the resort by a friendly driver. Our room was 'Sea View', however, I did wish i paid extra for an upgraded room as this room view was half blocked by the rooms in front of ours! Apart from that, room was very spacious, modern and had very good facilities including a flat screen TV. Room also came with complimentary Fruits and Wine.

On our second day, we decided to upgrade to All Inclusive from Half Board which i believe was 25 euros p/day p/person at the time. I felt this was very reasonable as I spent 25 euros for a couple of rounds of drinks at the pool! However, all inclusive did stop at 11PM. Bars had a menu which showed what drinks were included on All Inclusive, I found it was everything I expected and wasn't disappointed at all. Everything from soft drinks in glass bottles (coke, fanta, sprite etc), to House Wines, Beers, and a lot of other beverages. Bar staff were very friendly, however, the Reception bar was usually ran by one man, and a women helping, which was not enough for around 10PM as it got very busy and he's very much a perfectionist and took 5-10 minutes per customer, making the cocktail look perfect (not a bad thing, just a bit annoying waiting for 30 minutes for a drink!)

Only ate at the Main restaurant during our week, because the Al A Carte restaurant didn't look like there were much choice, and it was very quite (doesn't suggest its that good!), but the main restaurant was very good. High range of foods changing daily, with efficient waiters who got you a table as soon as possible (During peak times). Again, I felt the restaurant was also slightly understaffed as I found myself trying to get there attention for more drinks for quite long times.

One improvement that could be made is making other chargeable facilities included with All Inclusive, such as WiFi access (even if they just gave us a free hour p/day!), Water sports or the gym (which i paid £5 for entry).

Kolympia is an interesting resort with a lot of shops/restaurants (ones with pictures of food on menus bear in mind), and supermarkets. Beach was extremely close, 30 second walk from hotel resort, and had a lot of sun beds available, although very outdated compared to pool side sun beds.

Overall, I had a very pleasant stay, very recommended for couples, however due to the little things (all inclusive stops at 11, wifi not included etc), It wouldn't stop me from visiting another hotel instead. However, i really do recommend this hotel.
