Although expensive it was a fantastically modern hotel with everything you could need. Nothing at all negative to say. Wanted to go back next year but it has gone far too expensive for us to return which is a real shame.

I've been on a few holidays but never felt the need to write a review before, but this holiday was amazing! (we stayed oct 2011 for a week)

The hotel is spotless and the rooms are perfect! we had a swim-up room and it was lovely! it was cleaned every day :)

the food was great too! lots of choice and the resturant was nicely layed out and looked posh haha :)

The entertainment at night was good but aimed at younger kids... the ONLY negative is that there was no entertainment for teenagers/adults....

Enjoy!xx

Room Tip: swim-up rooms are a must! the relax side is alot quiter and you can easily walk to the other side if...

We recently came home from the Holiday Village. This was our first time staying in a resort such as this and especially all inclusive! It was fabulous!!!! Being normally a quite active family we decided that for 1 week of our entire lives we would CHILL out, not travel anywhere and just enjoy being a family. We travel around so much at home that we had no desire to travel outside of the hotel complex therefore the vicinity that the hotel was in mattered not to us. I don't think we could have done 2 weeks but that was just personal choice. We stayed in the Delux side room 4311 (1st floor as we have 2 young children and decided against the swim up rooms). Gorgeous pool, fabulous all inclusive drinks both alcoholic and not. The children have eaten so many ice creams i think it's put them off and the food in the delux restaurant and the choice in the restaurant across the road in the activity part of the hotel for lunch was fabulous. Our 3 year old daughter thoroughly enjoyed getting her own for lunch at the childrens corner and my only request would be that they put other foods in this area as she was becoming too independent and wouldn't let me get her anything else other than the chips, pizza, fish sticks, beans and a few veg she got herself. Our routine was breakfast, pool, lunch, siesta, pool, shower and supper then evening entertainment which our children thoroughly enjoyed. This whole week was for our children and they catered perfectly for them. The staff were fabulous and couldn't do enough for us all (even when my son shattered a large glass in the delux restaurant). My only request would be that they sorted the breakfast juice out as it was obvioulsy either watered down or a bad cordial, other than the whole holiday was faultless. The food was amazing!!!!! Not a hotel for singletens or couples though. Evening entertainment is a little repetative but I wouldn;t travel to a hotel like this expecting a westend production because London is a whole lot nearer. I would however like my children entertained and this they were. Highly recommend the hotel to anyone travelling with children. I would highly recommend staying on the Deluxe side as the rooms are gorgeous with kettle etc... and then a small tunnel under the road takes you to the activity side where the small water park and other restaurants and entertainment are. The area was dry and baron but we knew that Greece was like this and merely wanted a relaxing holiday with no getting on coaches to see the sights.

We are a family of four with children aged one and three and found the deluxe first floor room to be a good size, well air conditioned, and very comfortable. The deluxe dining room and pool area are a haven from the louder parts of the hotel and the service at breakfast and dinner are attentive and firendly. The water park is great fun and swimming lessons were good, although the deluxe swiming pool had rather a lot of grit on the floor, which was somewhat of a hazard on toes. The variety of food is good and freshly cooked, the main weak area being desserts which were not very exciting, although fruit was readily available. Wine was ok, although the red was of varying quality, seemingly cooked the last couple of days. Coffee could be improved - espresso based coffees were extra cost so instant coffee was often used (come on, this is 2012). Juices were squash not juice (come on, this is 2012). The bars offered cocktails but didnt have the equipment, ie a blender, required to make them, so your pina colada or margerita were warm liquid with ice cubes floating in them. That said, drinks and food were very easy to get hold of, either self service or served. A few more small gripes: they charge a deposit for pool towels - i think anyone who can afford this hotel has probably already got towels at home; room safes are chargeable at 20 euros per week; no wifi in bedrooms; and irons are absent from bedrooms on health and safety grounds! Overall, a well run hotel with extensive, high quality facilities that provided very well for our needs for two weeks.

We knew it was going to be good when we arrived at 0130 and there was a glass of bubbly and a buffet laid on for us, whilst the porter took our cases to our room. This place really is so well run - it is exceptionally clean and tidy (always cleaners at work), the staff are polite, hard working and friendly (especially in the restaurant, always greeted with a handshake and a smile), and it is very well appointed. We had a partition room with a balcony, overlooking the main pool. Roomy, double glazed, air conditioned. People who have complained about the noise of the entertainment on this site should just shut the patio doors - they are that good.Great food, varied each night, with some theme nights. Loads of stuff for the kids to do, splash park, and plenty of entertainment. Reps work very hard, and are quick to sort out any issues.
We stayed in the activity area, but the deluxe and relax area is quite separate, if you need something a bit quieter. What I will say is that this is a true FAMILY resort - so really, anyone on here who complains about kids should go and book a villa perhaps.
There is a small shop on site, and the local town is only a short walk if you need anything else. We were there for two weeks in June, and the daytime temperature was in the forties, with virtually no rain.
Will certainly go back again - my only real complaint is that the door handles in the rooms can be opened easily by small children, which surprised me in such a child friendly resort. Also, be careful with the trips - the half day trip to Lindos is entirely unsuitable if you are taking a pram or baby buggy - don't let the reps persuade you otherwise, remember they are on commission - and it would have been cheaper for us to have taken a cab both ways.
First Choice have really got their act together with this one - good call :)

Room Tip: Don't bother with the swim up rooms - the patios are too shady. First floor balcony ones with pa...

Having been here last October with my (adult) daughter, I knew what to expect and was not disappointed! Came here with husband and another couple this time.
Had a swim up room in the Relax side of the village and it was lovely to be able to have a jacuzzi when we wanted and then just swim off when we'd finished being pumelled - glorious!
Having booked after us, our friends stayed in the Activity side, joining us in Relax during the day as the pool areas are quieter. Their only complaint (and why I've only given an overall 4 out of 5) is that on several evenings, there was not enough hot water and they ended up having near-cold showers. Despite raising with Reception, this didn't appear to be rectified (solar panel issue?)
The staff, as ever, were very professional and polite and worked hard all of the time.
We hired a car for a couple of days via Nigel (Rodos Cars) and I agree with everything said about him in previous reviews - he is extremely professional and helpful.
Would we return - you bet!

Room Tip: Swim up rooms are nice but not a necessity unless you like a jacuzzi!

This hotel gives you everything you want from a holiday and more. I myself am not a "Butlins style / Hi-De-Hi" holiday fan. I don't like to queue for food, I don't like repetative stage shows every night with bingo and cheezy double acts and I don't want to get involved in the daily sunbed wars. This hotel is has all that (and if you like that kind of thing this this holiday is really up your street) BUT - we booked two delux family swim up rooms and our holiday couldn't have been more different. The poolside was quiet, the exclusive restaurant was waiter service and there was no queuing for food. There was an exclusive adult only bar with different nightly entertainment. We enjoyed using the Activity areas (in small doses) and the facilities in the Activity area were very good but I personally took great pleasure in being able to walk away and go back to the quiet and seclusion of the delux area. The food in both sections of the hotel was outstanding and there was so much choice that even the fussiest of eaters would have been well fed. The staff throughout the hotel couldn't have been friendlier and couldn't do enough to help and make our holiday truly enjoyable. The kids clubs offered a huge variety of entertainment for all age groups - the only negative was the age bandings of the clubs, my 7 yr old son was separated from his 9yr old friends which upset him greatly. We overcame this by doing family activites instead. We landed home at 5am on Sunday morning and by 12 noon we were back in the travel agents booking up for next year.

Room Tip: If you like busy "in the middle of everything" holidays - book a room in the activity area...
