Thoroughly enjoyable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely pool. Food good. Excursions great. Reps good. Room good and cool. Queue at bar - more staff needed. I would have loved tea making in room but you can't have everything :-)
I would go again tomorrow

Grounds are stunning and very tropical and well laid out, pool is very good and cleanliness of the hotel and food are very good too.

But this hotel is all inclusive with a bar manager with a photographic memory. He knows when you check in who you are with and how many drinks you order from the first contact with him. If you order more than what he recalls is in your original party he questions it, even if you have others you have met since going there and offer to get drinks for them....!! Both I and the wife queued on average for 10 - 15 minutes to get drinks in the evening, which is pretty appalling, especially when you hear others in the queue moaning about the drinks service, and witnessed the Mastermind Barman on many occaisions questioning and arguing with people why they want 4 drinks instead of the 2 they normally order....He almost accuses people of drinking too much...whilst not realising you can strike up friendships on holiday. This was the only thing that let this place down. We walked into town one night and got back about 10pm. To be faced with a queue of about 20 people to get a drink after a mile walk into and out of town. It was 35 degrees that day and all we wanted was a cool refreshing drink.

When we spoke to the Rep for our place about this poor evening bar service, I got the feeling he was a little too cosy with the management. Despite our concerns, he never actuallly wrote down our complaint but stated it had been like this the year before and the year before that and so on for the previous 5 years.... Then on our last day I spoke to another rep from the same company who happened to be there organising a transfer and she wrote it all down and said that it would be checked out. That was all we needed, to be heard. I suggested someone should sit in the corner one night to witness the questioning behaviour of the barman and the moans of other guests and she seemed to take it on board and be genuinely concerned about it. Good Girl !!

Overall, Nice Hotel...Gorgeous Grounds and Pool area, good entertainments team, poor bar design and staff levels, bit out of the way but thier own shuttle service to Kolymbia "Town" helps

Me and a friend stayed for 1 week all inclusive at the end of July. We arrived at the hotel very open-minded after reading the reviews on here. But compared to some of the reviews it was luxury!! The hotel is old and basic, but the cleanliness, variety of food and staff make up for it. We had a lovely relaxing break in lovely surroundings. My only issue would be it's a bit far out from Kolumbia centre, other than that it was a great cheap getaway. We didn't pay 5* prices so we were not expecting a 5* holiday.

The room furnishing and facilities are very old, yet the rooms are clean. For electricity saving, you get one room key and punch it in a slot to turn the electricity on. Problem is, when you leave the room the electricity is out, so don't put anything in the fridge.
The food is average and possibly bad - I got sick to my stomach on our last night after dinner. The location is 15-20 minutes from Kolimbia center and the beach. When the local bus arrives to the station it is usually full because it's the last bus stop. We waited over an hour to go to Rhodes city.
We will not stay there again.

Our review is based on our one week stay from 11th Sept 2013. Room 154 - balcony overlooked garden, fountain and restaurant, as well as the lovely hills. 25E to hire safety deposit box for week (30E for 2 weeks). Aircon free and very welcome as it was still warm. Shower - hot water throughout day, but typical Greece nowhere to hang the shower head! No hairdryer, but you could borrow one. Fridge. TV.
On 11th Sept the hotel had a lovely mix of international guests from France, Italy, Russia, Uk, who all joined in the activities put on by the lovely 3 members of the entertainment team. But by the end of the week 90% of the guests were Russian who didn't want to join in. I took part in water aerobics, stretch class, enjoyed the international music quiz (except for the ozzo shot!), and even won a dance competition! Just a shame that the evening activities didn't start until 10 pm. Free drinks ended at 11 pm. Beer and wine free from 11 am, with vodka, rum, mallibu and ozzo free from 5 pm. Tea and coffee (and cakes) also available from 11 am. We bought our own pineapple/coke from the little shop.
Meals were excellent and we both put on so much weight! We were fortunate that in Sept the dining room was not busy. You could sit out on a covered balcony. Lunch was served until the 17th Sept in the outside dining area by the pool, which we loved. Lots of choice with meats cooked beautifully, plus lovely salads and veg. It was such a shame that they couldn't keep the food hot.
There was a free bus to the beach. Bus stop outside with very unreliable buses to Lindos and Rhodes (both excellent for visits). The roads around Kolimbia are dusty tracks and it is a 20 minute walk to the beach or strip with restaurants and bars and shops. If you continue along the strip and down a further dusty road taking the left branch you will discover a Shirley Valentine bay with a gorgeous bar/restaurant.
We had a wonderful relaxing holiday. We are the type who are happy to walk and took little torches with us (needed walking back in dark). There is an ace cheap bar with free internet around the corner, and a lovely restaurant. Staff all excellent. Really glad we stayed in this hotel it well exceeded our expectations of a Greek hotel. Can't imagine how it would be in July or Aug when the dining room would be madness and no free sunbeds.

Room Tip: Make sure you are overlooking the garden rather than the bar, although music stopped at 11.30 pm

Ok value for money but the bar lady in the afternoon is very grumpy all the time. The room(702) is shockingly poor but due to the hard work of the cleaners, spotless. Everything is an extra here, all inclusive apart from swimming. They even charge 25euro for a safe in your room! Food is poor but what you would expect. Luckily there are some nice restaurants in town. I wouldn't rush back!!! ...still got a few more days here, will update if it improves!

Everything was great but the bar staff were very rude and needed to be told, they don't get all inclusive and the entrainment manager is rude and expects his to girls to do all the work, he even didn't care about a young boy who fell over he said to us what is he ment to do about it.
