“If you like meat here is the perfect place to eat in Vietri”
Reviewed 13 September 2013

One word to describe our experience at this restaurant: AMAZING!
We took a fish antipasti which was a great choice, pasta with seafood and fresh salsicia(Italian sausages). We end our dinner with a meloncello. 4 persons 115 euros and we couldn't eat everything+ one bottle of local wine . 5 stars + for this restaurant

“our worst meal”
Reviewed 30 June 2013

We spent 8 days touring with a group. Had a group dinner here. The dishes served were pre-selected by the tour operator. Supposed to be typical regional food. The gnocchi were tough. The next dish was a pasta with a plain tomato sauce garnished with one leaf of basil. The beef stew contained chunks of mystery meat which was full of fat & gristle. The house white wine was insipid and thin. The house red wine (served chilled) was also boring. In all fairness, we were not able to order from the menu, but this was the worst meal of our entire trip. Also, the weather was hot & humid - the place is not air-conditioned, not even a fan.

“Great down home Italian Seafood!”
Reviewed 24 May 2013

Tasty! Tasty! Grilled fish of day was very fresh and tender. Chef's pasta very flavorful coated with a tomato-drenched seafood-flavored olive oil. A great find in this little beach town.

“It was ok”
Reviewed 29 May 2012

I feel like such a peasant... I go all the way to Italy to get authentic Italian food, and prefer Olive Garden. My food was under-flavorful, in my opinion. Certainly nothing to rave about, but then, it might just be what I ordered. I'd give it another try some other time. It wasn't awful.

“Friendly owner”
Reviewed 14 May 2012

This was such a similar experience to a special restaurant back home in that the owner just brought food out to us. Bruschetta and foccacia (the best of our trip), followed by caprese salad, mixed grilled vegetables, fried calamari and fritelle. One of our party did not want fish and that was accomodated with scallopine while the rest of us had whole grilled fish in a delicious mint, lemon, olive oil sauce. The only odd note was that the house wine was a Tuscan chianti, not a local wine.
