This is a beautiful apartment overlooking the Mediterranean in Albori, a ten-minute drive up into the hills from Vietri sul Mare (ignore the Google translation that gives Albori as "Dawning"!). We had considered staying at one of the small towns at the coast road level, but were very happy with our choice of Albori and of CasaVacanzeTerrazzeDiCristina. The owner, Teresa, is great, and she made us and our small dogs very welcome. The apartment is extremely comfortable and sparklingly clean. Two lovely bedrooms, two very good bathrooms (one with shower, one with full bath), well-equipped kitchen, and living room with sleep sofa. It includes access to the roof terrace above, for meals around the table, but there is also a balcony seating 3-4 off the kitchen of the apartment itself. We felt like we were on vacation the minute we started ascending the hills (typical narrow road with some hairpin turns, but never difficult to negotiate) toward Albori. The parking is on the street just below the apartment. Albori itself is charming, off the beaten track, and Vietri sul Mare is a lovely place for small shops and places to eat. Easy reach to Pompeii (half an hour via the main road), the temples of Paestum (an easy drive south) and of course the famous Amalfi Coast road, which really begins at Vietri sul Mare though the most famous bit of it is from Amalfi to Sorrento, an incredibly rewarding drive west. We loved staying at this apartment as a home base for the whole area, and will definitely return.
