“Beautiful and Romantic”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 June 2014

I stayed at this hotel from Saturday 7th June till Tuesday 10th and I must say it was a little Gem of a hotel, when I saw the pictures on Tripadvisor it just screamed at me the type of hotel I like and I was not dissapointed.

The only fault I could say was the bed it was too hard for me but if thats all I have to moan about well its trivial.

The location was excellent a lot quieter than Amalfi next door yet its a 10 minute walk to Amalfi which is a bonus.

Room Tip: You deffo need a room with a sea view otherwise you will look over the rear of the hotel and someone...

If, if I had to be picky I could find some very small flaws wit this hotel but to be honest It was awesome and we had a great stay.

The negatives? The bar closes at 10, there are 78 steps to hotel and there is little storage to unpack into.

But...

The porter is awesome, carrying all our bags up to the hotel and our room. The staff are unstoppably helpful, the view is amazing, the roof terrace is fantastic. Atrani is much preferable to Amalfi and only 15 mins walk away.

Would I stay here again? Yes. Would I recommend it to my family and friends? Yes.

Just be aware, steps - lots of them, bar closes early, wifi needs new codes every day and TV has 100's of channels all in Italian!

Stay here, you will not be disappointed!!!

As we walked up the steps through Atrani I was a bit scared we had made a big mistake... As soon as we got to the hotel property there was a huge sigh of relief! It is a very modern beautiful hotel! The staff is amazing and so is the coffee and breakfast! The views are spectacular! I dont think I have ever felt so relaxed! This is the most romantic hotel I have ever stayed at! It is in the quiet town of Atrani. Atrani is next to Amalfi and has an easy walk through a pedesrtian tunnel that takes you into the heart of Amalfi city. In Amalfi city they have all the ferries that take you to Capri and other cities in the Amalfi Coast!
Just a tip... We took a taxi from Naples which was much more convenient then a train and then bus to Atrani. It cost us 100 euros but with all our bags I think it was worth it ( I hear there are tons of pick pockets in the train station). The countryside is so magnificent too!

Room Tip: We ahd the Elizabeth Taylor room! IT had the most spectacular view!

The PF is located in Atrani just 15 min walk from Amalfi. Since we arrived in a rental car we contacted the hotel in advance to get a parking space. At the hotel we were met by one guy taking care of our car and one guy carrying our bags up the stairs. We upgraded our room to one with Jacuzzi and a view over the ocean. The room was great and the cleaning service without remarks. The breakfast was well above average by Italian standards. The only thing on the down side was the village bell ringing every 15 minutes trough out both night and day. Ear plugs are recommended! Very helpful and attentive staff.

We have just returned from stayiing 4 days in Room " Sharon " which can highly reccommend.
A couple of small points. On arrival our room was not quite ready and we were asked to wait in the bar area and have a drink, which we did but was rather surprised to see the two drinks on our bill when we left ( Euro 7 ) a small point agreed but rather disappointing. On Sunday afternoon the weather outside was terrible, torrential rain and flooding so we decided to return to our room at 3.30 and found that our room had not yet been made up and was not completed until 4.15

Just one warning regarding driving time to the Airport. We ordered a car to take us on Monday morning to the Airport and left at 7.30 am to arrive at 9.00am at the Airport which we were advised was more than enough time to catch a 10.30 flight which indeed it would have been. The traffic outside the Airport was appalling and we arrived there at 10.00 am and thus missed our flight as check in had shut. We then had to pay Euro 900 for two tickets on the BA flight departing at 13.10. Unfortunately it was paying that ( 1 Economy and 1 Club Ticket as that was all that was available ) or waiting until 19.30 for the next flight . Obviously the Hotel are blameless in this but you are forewarned !!

Contemporary 'boutique' hotel with about 30 rooms. It's modern, clean and is run by friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended. Would return. The hotel has a Night Manager; Roof Terrace with Great Views; a Generous Breakfast Buffet; Fresh Coffee to order; Quiet Location. There is a 80 step climb to Hotel Lobby from taxi (harbour road) and the town square, but you soon get used to steps because they are everywhere. Porter carries the bags and runs up the steps. Try and keep up !
Only a 5 minute walk to Amalfi which is the other side of the headland, either via the road (and steps) or by the path (and steps) which weaves along narrow passages between the houses and offers spectacular views. Atrani is the quiet relation to the busier Amalfi next door. There are about 6 restaurants around or near the square, and those we tried were very good, but Amalfi offers a far greater choice. Day trips by ferry to Capri; Sorrento; Positano; and Salerno (direct train to Pompei) are not expensive and give superb views of the coast. Buses run along the coast and are really cheap but are usually crowded (standing room only) and take at least twice as long. Ravello (reached by bus) perches high above Atrani and has superb gardens with stunning views. We'll return.

Room Tip: About 6 rooms look at the cliff face at the back of the hotel.

This was my first trip to the Amalfi coast and I fell in love. Atrani was perfect for us, quiet, friendly with some really amazing places to eat. The hotel was midern and comfortable with lovely staff. Breakfast was continental but with loads of choice. The bar was super quiet at night but that suited us and the room was spacious and meticulously clean. We also managed to sleep properly once we found the blackout blind. After one very long day sightseeing we thought it a shame there was no restaurant but to be honest once we'd gone to the square we were happy we'd made the effort
