In August, we spent 8 days at Le Marelle, hosted by Saverio and his family. The owners are extremely nice, kind and friendly and really tried their best to make us feel welcome to the point that when we left ,a piece of our heart stayed with them. The rooms are very clean and well equipped for all your needs. The B&B is beautifully located if you are looking for a nice, relaxing place after a long hot day. It is ideal if you want to be out of the madding crowd in the evening and, be sited at 450 m height, will offer you a breathtaking view of the coast between Amalfi and Positano. Moving from the place on a daily basis can be tricky if you don’t own a car as the local transport system isn’t great. But if you enjoy walking , there are plenty of paths to follow which will take you down to the coast in about an hour. We would love to visit again and we strongly recommend a visit. Antonella Maher

I booked a double room for one night using a prepaid voucher (smartbox).
The B&B is located in the "high" Furore, has a huge terrace with an awesome panorama and the rooms are comfortable.

The B&B is well linked, through the public bus network, to Amalfi (20min), that it's the hub for the other towns (e.g. Ravello, Positano, Minori, ...) of the Amalfi Coast. Therefore you can leave you car at Furore, avoiding traffic, parking and expensive tariffs!

I highly recommend this place!

We where 4 persons (2 couples) who stayed here for one week. We had an incredible stay at Le Marelle. We have stayed in many B&B in Italy and Le Marelle has been the best so far. The service we experienced was stunning and the family did everything for us. The breakfast was homemade and very good. We also had a four course dinner witch where very good at just 22 euro per pers included wine!!!
The B&B has an incredible view and a wonderful terrasse.
It takes 20 minutes down to amalfi but only 5 minutes up to agerola witch is a small town with supermarkets.
The Family was incredible nice. Giovanni who is the oldest at 79 was always around and making jokes. His two sons Serverio and Anthony was always there to make our stay perfect. If we needed a cuppuchino or a cold beer (very cheep) they where always around.
Molte Grazie, Serverio,Anthony,Giovanni,Rita and The ladies in the kitchen for making our holyday perfect.

We spent three nights at Le Marelle and it was a fantastic experience!! We had a room with a private terrace that offers a superb view of the Amalfi coast. Breakfast on the common terrace was superlative: you hear only birds singing! The owners are very kind and make you feel at home. We had dinner at Le Marelle: food was very good and the price quite cheap. There is a private parking and this is very good since it is better to use public buses in "costiera": driving can be difficult if you are not expert (and parking fees are very high).
We wish to come back again in Le Marelle!

We have searched through the Internet for a lower priced bed and breakfast in a less touristic site at the Amalfi Coast and have found Le Marelle. Very good breakfast with juices, fresh Italian bread and I will never forget the incredible tasty cappuccino that the owner served. He was even so kind to offer a second one. I will also never forget the beautiful view on the Amalfi Coast during breakfast on the very nice terrace outside. Good rooms, we had a double room with a good bathroom.

Le Marelle is exactly in between Amalfi/Ravello and Positano, which are one of the most famous and beautiful places to visit. Especially Ravello is amazing, visit the little streets and incredible views of the parks (Rufolo & Cimbrone). We have also walked in the Nature Reserve just outside Amalfi. From there you can walk passing lemon fields, waterfalls, old metal factory's and if you want even to Pontone/Scala/Ravello. Ask the tourist office in Amalfi for a map. There should also be a nice blue grot close to Praiano (and therefore close to the B&B) we were sorry to not visit this grot, because we did not have time. But it is definitely worth ask the tourist office about it.

We did not know anything about the coast so we did not expect the B&B to be sited at 480 m height and therefore very far from the sea (5000 steps down) if you don't have a car. But there were a lot of busses passing right in front of Le Marelle, so you can easily reach Amalfi and very nice beaches as well. You can also buy the bus tickets at the B&B.

It is definitely a place that for it's price deserves more than 5 stars with it's amazing view, breakfast and kindness of the owners.

Room Tip: Double room is a good choice. If you want a nice view on the sea you can pay 10 euros more a night, but you can enjoy the amazing view on the sea and the shore/hills/amazing coast during the very tasty breakfast as well.
