Just finished a short break at Camping del Garda with Keycamp. Stayed in mobile home with aircon. Home was well equipped and as temperatures were approaching 40degrees most days we were there, we were thankful for the aircon!
Campsite is well laid out, not too large and very safe to wander around. Went into Peschira a couple of nights for dinner - very nice, and a nice walk in along the lake. Sadly the lakeside entrance closes at 2100, so we always had to walk back along the road in the dark - not so nice, but fairly safe.
There are 3 pools, only visited 2 of them. Wouldn't bother with the pool at the beach. The main pool is great - good location and you're usually able to get some swimming in even if there are quite a few children swimming about. The only big problem is that there are VERY FEW sun loungers with parasols - so go at 1000 and queue if you want one. It is one very big letdown that if only they invested in some more loungers and parasols!

Overall a good campsite, in a good location and a good base to discover Lake Garda and its environs.

Would recommend this campsite

Just back from 2 weeks in Camping Del Garda. We are 2 families with 8 kids aged 3-13. Stayed in Vivaldi Luxe mobile homes (Thompson Al Fresco) and they were modern, clean and perfectly equipped for self catering. The Vivaldi Luxe is a large mobile home for 6 people with 3 rooms and good kitchen area - perfect for a short stay. The site itself is lovely. Well maintained, lots of playgrounds, swimming pools, volleyball, and full of mature trees for shade and comfort. There is a small supermarket on site and a bigger one a 5 min drive down the road. Good security on the campsite and lifeguards on all the pools. A couple of restaurants and bars, but the food is basic and nothing special. We hired bikes for the 2 weeks and I would highly recommend it. The kids can fly around the campsite and its a lovely 10 min cycle into the town of Peschiera. There are lots of lovely small towns around the lake too easily reached by bike. Cost was about 150euro for family of 6 for the full 2 weeks so well worth it and no hassle with taxis or other transport. The town of Peschiera is lovely with lots of beautiful shops and cafes and restaurants. Overall a great location for a family hol and loads to do for kids of all ages.

Room Tip: The Vivaldi Luxe is the same layout as the Vivaldi but with a covered veranda outside which is essen...

We stayed for a week during June half term in a key camp basic mobile home. The metered taxi fare to and from verona airport was 50 euros each way, there are probably cheaper ways i.e booking in advance or taking public transport but with grandparents and a small child I was happy to pay.

Really liked the site, friendly, helpful reps from key camp and eurocamp. Would not bother with the keycamp welcome pack, the camp shop was well stocked and closed at 6 pm so plenty of time to get supplies and money would have been better spent there. We did not have a car, walked to local supermarket and stocked up, if we'd had a car we might have done a big shop there but we did not find much difference in cost between campsite and supermarket so did not go again and just topped up when needed from the camp shop, this also mean't less waste at the end of the week.

The home was clean and well equipped, again ours was basic and on a couple of the hot days aircon would have been nice at night, so I could imagine it being a bit uncomfortable in the full summer heat - unless you are used to it.

We caught the train to venice and had a fabulous day just wandering around taking in the sights. The only disappointment was the restaurant by the beach just outside the campsite - lovely food but terribly rude staff.

It was relaxing and a joy to watch the children of different ages and nationalities playing together. My little one loved the pool and slides and had lots of fun with her holiday friends. The kids club team were good fun too. It did seem peaceful, despite all the kids! We had a nice mix of relaxing and venturing out and would definitely recommend the site as a good base for a family holiday.

We were 2 couples in end of may in the mobile house Le rose. The house has 2 bedrooms, separate toilet and shower, fully equipied kitchen and dining room. In front there is a big table with chairs and sunbeds, with shadow. And all this just about 10m from the beach. The reception stuff was friendly and let us stay more than until 10am in the house the last day, because no one was comming behind us. The Peschiera town is just 15 min. walk from the camping and is a very nice town. I trully reccomend this mobile houses for those who need some place nice and clean to sleep and that is cheap.

Firstly its also known as Gardaturist or Residence Gardaturist. Anyway we had stayed for 3 nights in a mobile home by renting direct with them (the voucher was issued by 'Europlan') and wanted to share some experiences which nobody seem to have written earlier. We arrived at the campsite walking from the train station, it was about 10 minute walk not bad even with luggage, but the route is not signposted at all so my printout of the area from G-maps proved handy. At reception we were given the key and map showing our unit, which was a further 5 minute walk. On reaching the unit, it was dark with no lights. After managing to open the door fumbling with the key in the dark, none of the switches seemed to work. Thats when I looked up the info sheet given to us at reception where it said we must switch on the mains to get power. Took a bit of searching to find the mains switch - it was in the bedroom after which we finally had lights ! As it was stuffy inside the closed mobile unit, I turned on the AC but wait.. we are only allowed 8 hours of AC use by default, and have to pay for more ! We were given a smart card which we insert into the AC power unit, which I suppose tracks the time. Anyway as it was cool during our stay we didnt use the AC except to cool the rooms briefly after we returned in the evenings from our day trips.
Then I wanted to answer nature's call but hey no toilet paper rolls in the loo. Cant buy them in the campsite as the onsite supermarket is not operating in this non-high-season period. The outside supermarket is a 15 minute walk away but cant even go there as it closes at 7 ! I also prepared to take a hot shower after our arrival late evening.. but alas the hot water tap just spewed warm water for a few seconds and then it was cold water from both taps all the while ! Next day morning tried again, no hot water. Called reception from my cell (no phone in the rooms) and they said they look into it. Some time later workers arrived and hot water came from the taps at last. But I had more surprises in store.. after starting the shower, the hot water ran cold after few minutes.. although the wash basin tap had hot water all right. After a lot of struggle I figured out the secret.. the shower tap only gives hot water when the washbasin hot water tap is left on ! Useful tip for those unfortunate souls who have to suffer this fate.
Anyway, we also found there was no cleaning pads/liquid provided in the kitchen, although they expect us to do the final cleaning. Enquiring at the reception, they said we should buy it from the market. A bit irritating, considering the onsite shop is closed and at the supermarket i have to buy a huge pack of 6 rolls/ pads. Also no floor mat in the bathroom so if some water spills on the floor it makes the whole unit bit dirty. We ended up renting a towel set - 1 bath towel and 2 hand towels for 9 Euros (which I found steep) and used one of them to mop wet patches on the floor. They expect us to seperate our garbage and dispose them off in plastic bags, but there arent any bags provided. Luckily we had a few spare bags with us. Ah and the amusing part about the mobile home.. if you are lying in bed and somebody else is moving about the house, it kinda feels like an earthquake .. not to mention the creaking sounds from the wooden floor. All in all, although the campsite setting and the mobile unit was lovely, this frugality in providing guests with barebones and expecting them to bring everything else - spoiled the stay. I can only bring so much in my Ryanair cabin bag after all. And the free bus to Grdaland only runs in high-season we were told, so we had to trek to the station to catch the shuttle to the park. By the way other folks have written about the mobile homes having heating, but I didnt find any room heating in our unit. The mobile unit itself although novel, modern and clean, is quite cramped and if 1 person has to move about the other person pretty much has to sit or lie on the couch/bed !
Still will give it 3 stars.. considering the good things which other reviewers have written about.

Stayed 2 weeks in August with our 4 children aged 10,13,13,and 16. Best holiday we've had yet. A big hit with everyone including the parents. Especially loved eating takeaway pizza and watching the amazing sunsets on the beach, loved Peschiera town centre whcih is very sophisticated, very upmarket, lots of gorgeous restaurants and only 15 mins from campsite.
The entertainment on site is a bit dodgy, very 1970's, could be a bit lary, if you like Karaoke and Blue's Brothers tribute acts you may find it OK, I thought it was best avoided and the key to a fab holiday is to get off site.
The children loved hiring the pedalos, jumping off the pier and the very best day and highly recommended is hiring a speedboat for half a day and whizzing round the lake James Bond style.
