We stayed here for three nights in Sept '13 and were delighted with the hotel. It is located just beside Peschiera train station which links directly from Verona. Probably the most convenient location you could ask for! Buses towards Riva and along the lake leave from just opposite the hotel on a regular basis and also the free shuttle bus service to Gardaland. It is just a easy ten minute stroll into the village centre across the bridge adorned with flowers and under the arch. From there you can take the boat trip out on the lake to visit any of numerous other little beautiful villages including e.g. Garda (1 hr) or Sirmione (40mins) or Lazise (30 mins) The reception staff are particularly helpful and gave us a booklet with "Welcome Verona" vouchers which entitles you to discounts off a range of services including the boat trip fees, entrance fees etc. The breakfast included a range of cereals, ham, cheese, yogurt, juices and all the usual continental items. We booked late as we had changed hotels and we got the last remaining room which was the junior suite in the attic and was probably more expensive than other rooms. This was very spacious, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spotlessly clean. The air conditioning worked very well. If, and most likely we will return to Lake Garda in the near future I will certainly book this hotel again but probably look for a room with a balcony as other reviewers have noted. The only thing that was a little bothersome was that the Wifi coverage (which is free) wasn't good in our room but was fine in the reception area, possibly elsewhere in the hotel it was ok too. Overall I would highly recommend.

Room Tip: The hotel may be near a train station but it is not noisy to disturb sleep.

Stayed at Hotel Garden 14th June for 7 nights. Very good location just opposite the station, handy when weary returning from Verona and Milan.Ask for a balcony room as they are much nicer for the same price.Good breakfast choices and friendly staff in hotel.Went to the opera in Verona and there is a bus back to the resort from Verona for€8,pre book this at the information centre in Verona.Bus drops you off right outside the hotel.Buses to Gardaland stop opposite the hotel at regular intervals.Red hop on hop off bus good in Verona and Milan. Pescheira is a lovely spot with plenty of eateries in walking distance. All Garda towns accessible by the ferryboats.Timetables available at the ferry stops and online. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We stayed here for 4 nights including buffet breakfast and it was amazing. Staff was very helpful and friendly. They even prepared for us a packed breakfast as we left from the hotel very early. The hotel was clean and very comfortable. We had a large beautiful balcony. The hotel was in a great location. the train station and bus stops to all the theme parks and other towns were just across the street. We went to Venice by train and also went to Malcesine up on the cable car and it was breathtaking...stunning views! we will definitely be coming back to this hotel :)

Room Tip: Ours was room 22 which was a very nice room with a big balcony on the back.

.Booked this hotel after reading such positive reports but unfortunately my experience proved to be exactly the opposite. It was very disappointing particularly with the meals served in the restaurant, and it is a shame this place exploits its guests who arrive late or too tired to walk into the town. The food served to us on the 3 occasions we chose to eat in the restaurant because we were tired, was pretty abominable. On 2 occasions when I complained that the broccolli had been oversalted and cooked to mush I was told "this is how they like it in Italy" This message was repeated when I ordered vongole spaghetti to find that it had mussels added!!

Restaurant staff were indifferent and had a bad attitude. Perhaps this could be due to a change of management maybe? There seemed to be a few Chinese people behind the scenes .....Hygiene didn't seem to be important at breakfast, there were flies swarming all over the open plates ofsweet pastries and bread, the only thing covered was the cheese and ham.

On a positive note the Reception and Cleaning Staff were wonderful and very helpful with all enquiries ranging from weather to travel.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the main road are noisy from the constant stream of traffic and noise from the tra...

Well here it is, a review to help you choose an overnight hotel in Pescheria Del Garda. If you need to move around the lake, funparks, boating get to verona or venice this is a great hotel. On arrival staff very welcoming. The hotel might have older furniture design but like all Italian furniture it's really comfortable. I met all the staff who could not have been more helpful over my 4 night stay. And anything I required they were able to provide. The room was basic but with great air conditioning, bathroom with a full suite and really clean towels. Rooms were completely cleaned everyday and very well maintained. Breakfast was lots of fruit, pastery, meats, cheese, fantastic coffee, all the teas, cerals and fresh bread from the bakery down the road. It was so laid back and relaxing you could not help but chill out. My favourite part of staying here was watching everyone from by balconay arrive in Pescheria by train to board buses to tour the lake, walk into town to enjoy the delights of Pescheria or as i did each night tour the fun parks. Fantastic. Free bus to the parks on the door. But best of all you could escape to Cola to enjoy the hot thermal spring lake and all the luxary from anytime of the day until 1am and get a taxi back and fall into bed. It was a great holiday and a great base to get everywhere. Staff were fantastic, very helpful with the local transport and speak great English.
Locals loved to come here in the morning and have breakfast and later in the evening to enjoy a quick dinner. Sitting out in the heat of the night you can enjoy their lovely coffee on their veranda.
I would really recommend the hotel if you need to stay the night before moving on to your next destination around the lake or need a base as i did to tour the lake. Pescheria is the best place to stay as you have access to days of fun and touring the lake and nights of fun, music, good food, good coffee and lots to do. The reason i recommend this area is because the rest of lake were very quite after 5pm.

The hotel is just opposite train station and bus station , it was very convenient when we came from Verona by train with heavy luggages. Few minutes walk to the center where cafes , restaurants and takeaway pizza . It was very quiet at night although near the train station. Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast included.
