Lovely little spot to sit in the sunshine at the front. Only had a toasted sandwich but it was tasty. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Even tried red lemonade which was delicious.

Stopped in here for lunch and a pint and found the staff very welcoming and friendly. Ordered a chicken salad and a ham & cheese Panini . Food was good and table service quick. So if you find yourself walking around the Harbour in Dungarvan pop in, you will not be disappointed.

Wobbly table, no spoon with soup, asked for no salad and low and behold salad was on the plate! Tea came out 10 minutes before the sandwich, one plate of food was brought out followed by the other 2 a good 5-6 minutes after. Some Poor quality of service not impressed to say the least.

Went in for a drink, bar dirty and sticky. Bottle bin on other side of bar just where we were sitting, staff kept throwing bottles in from a distance making a loud bang each time. Staff appeared to me more interested in their phones and in each other’s social life and when trying to order customers appeared to be interrupting them. Location lovely but clearly staff here are tourist fatigued,
Denise

We arrived after communing with celestial clouds in the Commeragh Mountains during late April and lovely though the misty views were over the quay side, we opted for a lunch indoors. A real fire was burning added 2 points to the ambience -- hygge as the Danes might say. The tables were a tad small but there was a wide range of meals on the lunch menu. and we ordered chowders and beer-battered cod. The service was prompt and friendly, and the locals chatted cheerfully at the bar. The chowder was superb, as were the fish and chips. The Guinness was up to scratch but the local Dungarven ale - Helvic Gold blond - draught from the cask - was quite superb. I suspect that local boutique breweries aren't as well known as they should be: "delicious hops" was my reaction. I noticed that lots of other craft beers were also available including a local stout. Overall it was an excellent lunch and good value at €38 for three.
