Description: Linahagen Café is beautifully placed very close to the Sognefjord, in Solvorn. (On the other side of the fjord lies Urnes Stavechurch). The café is in harmonic environments, and we would recommand coming here when you have some spare time to have a fulfilling and relaxing experience of both Solvorn and our cafe. We serve different salads, traditional Norwegian food, seafood and classics; like burger and club sandwich. + We also have different sorts of coffee and homemade cakes.

Very underwhelmed with the cafe. We stayed at the Walaker and thought we would eat dinner here to save some money. We saved money but the food options are very limited and none of our party of four enjoyed the meal. The only item that we thought was exceptional was the french fries of all things.

“Added so much to our stay in Solvorn”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 July 2012

We recently stayed at Eplet Bed & Apple in Solvorn, and ate not once, but three times at Linahagen Cafe. What a pleasure! We really enjoyed getting to know our waitress, Sigrid, and striking up conversations with the locals. We were also lucky enough to be there for one of the "Pub Nights" - a few times a summer, the Cafe stays open late, and the whole town shows up for games, music, conversation and sandwiches. It was so nice to be on vacation and feel like a local, not a tourist ...

The menu is simple - quiche, salads, sandwiches, etc. - but everything we sampled was very fresh and delicious and reasonably priced.

And the setting was just beautiful - we sat on the patio, and thoroughly enjoyed lingering over a bottle of wine, and looking out over the water, and up at the mountains!
