“Wow! The best way to visit Kaya Koy!”
Reviewed 23 August 2014

We wanted to visit the ghost village and had read that some restaurants offered a free pick up service, it seemed a bit too good to be true, especially as we were a way out in Calis, but we called Muzzy anyway, and no problem! He speaks great English so it was all very stress free. At 5pm on the dot he was there to drive us to his lovely hotel.

We were made so very welcome, from the moment we arrived. The staff are wonderful, especially the lovely front of house gentleman who looked after us so well. My smallest son used the pool for hours, watched over by his dad and sister, while we others explored the ruins as the sun went down. Definitely the best time to go, so atmospheric.

The meal we had at Muzzy's was the best we'd had in Turkey, we all ordered different things and they were all delicious. I highly recommend the chicken casserole. And Ancora wine!

After many happy hours we were driven home again, the whole evening was one of the highlights of our holiday, thank you so much.

“Genuine people, good food and a relaxed atmosphere”
Reviewed 20 August 2014

We popped in here for lunch early on in our holiday whilst visiting the village and ended up coming back for a evening meal and a Turkish breakfast(recommended). Although the menu does have a lot of English food on it which put us off initially it does have just as many Turkish choices and these are really well cooked and as good as you'll get in any of the other restaurants in the area. We found the difference at Muzzy's though was the service provided by Ural and the team, a group of really genuine, friendly people who do their best to make everyone feel welcome. The atmosphere is very comfortable and relaxed and for an evening meal they'll happily pick you up and drop you off too. Thoroughly recommended.

“what a wondefully relaxed place”
Reviewed 14 August 2014

Muzzy's Place first came to our attention last year with an invitation to use the pool and a genuine no catch offer of a free map to guide us around the 'Ghost Village' which you can access opposite Muzzy's. Not having our swimming gear with us we vowed to return and make use of the inviting looking pool. After a walk down from Hissaranou the warm welcome we received from Ural was ideal. There is a large covered area with tables and chairs where you can eat or just relax away from the water. The pool is a good size with a large shallow area and some small slides to ensure children are not bored. Having said that, not once in our three visits was the pool noisy, quite the opposite as each time i was able to totally relax. There are sunbeds, tables and shaded retreats around the pool and we spent three full days enjoying the sun and the friendly service here, the welcome on the first day was so good we had to return....twice!

All of the staff were friendly and hard working, They prepared a lovely Turkish Breakfast for us despite the fact it was not listed on the menu. The prices were competitive, the service attentive and the visit was completed by the welcome we got from Amanda and Ural both of whom really seem to care about making sure visitors enjoy their time there. On one of the visits we stayed for an evening meal and the steaks were really good. They also have a free courtesy bus service to both collect and return you home.

One place I will be going back to.
