We went during school summer holidays. Children enjoyed it so much. Food is not great in the cafe on 2 floors with the outdoor and indoor play areas. Only hotdogs or pancakes to choose from. Cafe on the very top section next to the Wild West area is better but the best choice of food is at the very bottom of the theme park hill. With comfy chairs, proper coffee, baked potatoes etc. the rides were well suited to our children who are 2, 4 & 6. They all had plenty to go on. The hills are steep but we didn't mind that and we had a pushchair for youngest. Doubt we'd of been able to do as much without a pushchair. Some of the height restrictions were a bit daft for our 6 yr old who needed to be accompanied on a lot of the very young rides. So that's a pain if you're a family of more than 2 adults 2 children or if you go as single parent with more than 1 child. Think the entrance fee is v expensive though. But a good day out with beautiful views of Matlock Bath.
