Called into Matck Bath on the way back from the Grand Depart of the Tour in Leeds. During the weekend we had encountered some pretty good Yorkshire cafes. However, this little gem was more that a match for them. Only three paces back from the hectic victorian promenade lined with predictable menus and the usual Brit standard table service, Flavours is a real delight, homemade cake, fresh ingredients, attention to detail and - yes - genuinely friendly service and very reasonable prices. In a world of corporate, portion-controlled blandness, this place deserves to succeed. Go try it for yourself. You won't be disappointed.
