“Defiantly worth the entrance fee. Great value for money in a central part of the village.”

Enjoyed the visit with friends. Was interesting and worth the £2.90 entrance fee. Liked the holograms but think maybe needs updating with some new pics as I came many years ago and it looked unchanged. The aquarium was interesting and the fish, on the whole, looked healthy but I felt some tanks a tad small for the amount of fish in but generally a nice afternoons visit.

Stairs made it look not wheelchair friendly, but the staff were very helpful and carried the wheelchair up all the steps. The hologram displays were amazing. The other exhibits were well worth seeing too.

Matlock Bath, is like a old fashioned sea sued resort without the sea, quaint shops and eating places and an aquarium which is not over priced by today's standards, they have some great aquatic displays and I particular
Y liked the large koi pond where you can feed the large fish and gaze at them in amazement!
The holographic art display is an added bonus, due to the displays being quite high level it is better if children are taller though.
All in all an excellent part of the entertainment you can have in Matlock Bath and would recommend it.

We called in at this attraction on a whim. As it was only £2.90 each to get in, our expectations were low but there was more to see than we had expected. After we had looked at all the fish, there was an intriguing collection of holograms for us to view. Excellent value!

Had this earmarked for a rainy hour before the Heights of Abraham, almost just to 'kill time' but it ended up being one of the highlights of our holiday! Strange place, in situ with the arcades ... still can't believe the entrance price, so reasonable at £2.90 with under 4's free. You enter up a flight of stairs, so it's not pushchair friendly, but there's an area to leave it and we felt confident leaving our bags on it too, just taking our valuables with us. As other reviews have said, there's an area with an extensive crystal/stone display, petrifying well and aquarium with an interesting mix of fish and plenty of informative notes. The old 'baths' and structure, now filled with fish, and, our highlight, the hologram gallery. We spent well over an hour in there alone. Our children thought they were magical! So did we. Completely fascinating. Can't recommend this attraction enough ... and not just for 'killing time'. It's a treat :)
