Great food & a warm welcome. We booked but a young family meant we arrived with a hungry gang an hour early. Fully booked things were hastily re-arranged and we were quickly found a table in the chapel room. What a treat! Small enough to remain cosy but essentially a private room where the kids and we could relax and enjoy the delicious food. Risotto balls & mount etna pizza both highly recommended. We had a new waiter who got most of the order wrong but we all got the food we wanted & the staff were all attentive enough it really didn't matter. I couldn't recommend this place more only disappointed that I left too soon to enjoy the beer festival.

Thank Mark W

We stayed in Bigbury-on-Sea for a week. This was our go to place for either lunch or dinner. We ate there 5 of the 7 days. We had "our table"! It has a casual and friendly modern pub atmosphere with a strong Wifi connection. The menu is varied from delicious steamed mussels to pizza. The salads were fresh and interesting as was the pasta dishes. The service was very good with a friendly staff. From observation, it was a favorite of the locals and dog friendly.

Revisited with a couple of friends. We gave them very short notice on a busy summer day but they fitted us in by simply making a few minor adjustments. Possibly having some folk enjoying eating outside in the warm summer weather helped. We had Pizza this time, and our friends had seafood pasta. We were all mightily pleased with what we had and because our portion was too much they gladly packed what we could not eat for us to take home. Pizza is crisp and thin and large with fresh moist toppings - just as we like it. Service was efficient and [pleasant in spite of the place being packed. Can't think why I am recommending it - They may not be able to make room for us next time!!!
