We stayed for two nights in twin room. A family run establishment and everybody was very friendly and helpful. Good location overlooking the beach and within easy walking distance to town centre.
Fantastic breakfast!

We stayed here for three nights, booking a double sea view room, which was room2 on the first floor.Parking outside was easy as it was the middle of the week and is indeed free, but locals tend to park there too as it is a short walk down to Stone Bay or the town......it must get very busy in high season.
This is a family run establishment and we were given a warm welcome, and shown to our room, which was 'cosy'......double bed, dressing table and wardrobe and a door leading out to a very neat balcony with a small table and two chairs which we used quite a bit, taking in the view of the beach and sea.The en- suite shower/sink and loo was pretty small....it did what it was meant to,but our rugby playing son wouldn't have been able to have a shower as his shoulders wouldn't have fitted in the cubicle!( one little gripe.....I don't like brown towels however fluffy.......I know you get unidentifiable stains on towels from guests who don't give a damn, but at least you can see the stains on light/white towels and can throw them away, but not on brown ones....)
Otherwise, everything was spotless, tea and coffee tray and ,nothing was too much trouble.....and the breakfasts were something else!! The fruit salad was really fresh and delicious, fresh coffee, juices, and the cooked breakfasts were lovely....extremely well cooked and presented hot.You chose your breakfast the night before, but that was no great deal at all,and we are sure if you changed your mind it wouldn't be a problem.
We would recommend staying here as it is in such a good position to travel up and down the coast.....thanks to all at The Devonhurst.

Room Tip: Choose a sea view room if at all possible

It is my first time staying in a B&B. I've decided going to Broadstairs last minute and all the hotels nearby were fully booked.

I stayed in room 6 which has the sea view. The room and the bathroom were very clean. The view on the sea was magnificent. The bed was comfy.

Breakfast was very tasty.

The hotel is not far from Broadstairs centre but it's located in a very quiet area.

The beach in front of the hotel is not too populated if you are someone looking for less noise and more privacy.

The owners are lovely and so polite.

I can't wait to go back!

Thank you so much.

We usually stay on the esplanade. Its convenient for town but away from what we think might be a lively place at night.
Our first stay here and we were not disappointed.A warm welcome from Matthew and an explanation an tour of all the things we needed to know and do.
All B and bs do things a bit differently. Like here , they like you to select your breakfast choice the night before. however, if you decline to do this, no problem, order in the morning.
I enjoyed my full English, quality local bacon and sausage plus a very yellow egg as well.
Lucky to be seated in the window, our table service was very attentive and toast and tea always came promptly.
They even went out of their way to provide some things on request, like unsalted butter and porridge.
We chose room 4, not facing the sea but it had all we needed. Some thought had been put into providing all those little things which you might need in the bathroom, which actually had a small shower. If you struggle to shower, consider another room. But, it even had room for a shower gel and shampoo dispenser.Towels were changed regularly and the room tied daily. The room was very clean and bright, the bedding and bed excellent
The TV suffered some reception issues, once and did not have very many channels, but we did not come here for that.
A short walk took us to the town centre where there are many places to take many different cuisines.
Crocc the road and you are on a cliff top, over looking the beach. there are good walks in either direction towards Margate or Ramsgate.
Broadstairs has lots to offer and this is a very good base from which to explore them.

Spent two nights at the Devonhurst on a friends recommendation. We were not disappointed. The family who run this bed and breakfast were so helpful and friendly.
It was in a great location. Easy five minute walk to town, and right on sea front.
Everything was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was excellent.
We would definitely stay there again .
