Our 2nd stay at Cloonlara B & B and as before we had a friendly welcome from Bernadette & Brian, clean, comfotable accomodation & really good choice at breakfast. Broadstairs is a small unspoilt English seaside town with a lovely beach and views. Excellent & Highly recommended

We stayed at Cloonlara for 2 nights the weekend of the 3rd August, and we couldn't have asked for a better weekend. Exactly what we needed, sun, sea, sand and an amazing B&B with fantastic hosts! We stayed in the tulip room, it was lovely, light and airy and plenty big for us. Bernadette and Brian were great, welcoming and helpful, topped with beautiful breakfasts! Thank you so much, I had a lovely birthday weekend and we'll definitely be coming back. We loved Broadstairs, everything is easily accessible, and nothing is too much trouble. After checking out we drove to Bottany Bay for the afternoon, well worth a visit!

I chose this bed and breakfast due to reviews. Not disappointed. The hosts Bernadette and Brian were lovely and welcoming and made us feel comfortable. The room we stayed in was lovely 'Louisa room' with en suite shower room. Breakfast was lovely we had full English and I tried the salmon and scrambled egg on toasted bagel. The room was spotless and had tv and wi Fi if needed. Could not of asked for more. . Will definitely return if we come to broadstairs again. Thankyou Brian and Bernie.

We stayed at Cloonlara for two nights and were really impressed! On arrival, we were greeted by the friendly hosts who showed us to our room and advised us about places to visit and to eat. They had kindly accommodated our request for an early check-in, ensuring our room was ready upon our arrival. We chose to stay in the Burgundy room, which was spacious and immaculate with excellent facilities including a balcony overlooking the front of the house. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and my partner and I chose scrambled eggs with salmon for breakfast the first morning, and a full english breakfast from the menu the next- both delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Broadstairs and hope to return to the Cloonlara in future.

We have just returned from two wonderful nights here at the Cloonlara, where everything is exactly as it says on the tin. Wonderful hosts, attentive but not intrusive, beautiful house and a very good breakfast. We stayed in the tulip room, which is delightful and got a peek at the burgundy room which looks fantastic. Powerful shower, lovely bedding, a true delightful place to spend some time. Thanks Bernadette and Brian, I had just what the doctor ordered, a two day stay that completely recharged my batteries.

We were extremely pleased with our stay at CloonLara B & B in Broadstairs! :-)
Our hosts Bernadette & Brian immediately made us feel welcome by offering us tea and biscuits on arrival.
My partner and I spent ten wonderful days in the 'Tulip Room' in this quite charming Victorian place with each room having a different theme with nice original features like fireplaces, all beautifully kept.
There were great little extras such as bath robes, wine and beer glasses, a fridge in the breakfast room and even a parking in front of the house.
We were also very pleased with the cleanliness of the room and the ensuite bathroom. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we slept great!
Breakfast was really excellent, freshly made with a wide choice of menu, with plenty of tea or cofffee, fruit juices and toast as much as you wanted. You could take it unhurried and relaxed in the dining room or (like we did most of the time) outside in the beautiful little garden, were we enjoyed especially the full English that was simply outstanding! Brian cooks up the best full English we have ever tasted (and we have tasted a lot, especially my partner!) Brian even offered different meaty sausages as soon as he recognized that my partner loves English sausages- thanks again for this nice little extra! ;-)
It was also lovely being able to take our afternoon tea outside and enjoy the sunshine.
We felt most comfortable and Bernadette & Brian were very hospitable, helpful and amicable, the really made us feel at home and we laughed a lot together!
Time went by so fast, we enjoyed very much our stay at CloonLara, thanks a lot, Bernie & Brian.
All in all we spent great holidays in CloonLara and in Broadstairs our favourite place in Thanet and we'll be back! ;-).
We are looking forward to staying at this great and charming place again upon our return visits to Broadstairs. We highly recommend this lovely B & B!
