“perfect home from home”
Reviewed 24 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

this house is perfectly located a few minutes walk from the beach and main shopping area in Broadstairs. The owner has taken care of every need from the high standard of cleanliness to providing your needs for a lovely drink in the the morning. The rooms are spacious and everything in the house is to a high standard. The dishwasher and washing machine are provided so you don't need to go back home with loads of washing, this was great as we were all back at work the next day. We were accommodated by the owner for late arrival and late departure which rounded off our stay perfectly. The buses to Ramsgate Margate and Canterbury can be accessed by going down to Ramsgate Road just a few minutes away, and the Railway Station is only 8 minutes walk or less than £5 in the taxi. The owner even provided us with a local taxi firm number which we found very usefull as we got there at 11pm. The fruit shop by the little tea shop in Broadstairs has wonderful locally sourced friut and veg.

“A very comfortable base to enjoy Thanet”
Reviewed 23 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

Beach Terrace is a large comfortable house with all major amenities . There were 6 of us , inc. 2 young children (11 and 6) House will sleep 8 . Just 5 mins walk from Viking Beach .
Found town of Broadstairs a very friendly place with some excellent small shops , coffee bars and restaurants. The very large Westwood Cross Shopping Centre is just 10 mins drive away . Only downside is the parking in Inverness Terrace , it is very narrow and tight .Beach Terrace ( house ) has parking for two cars but still difficult to get in and out .
We tended to leave the car and use public transport , bus, rail and taxis or just walk to the beach town. We really enjoyed our week in Broadstairs.

“Perfect family house, very conveniently situated”
Reviewed 5 August 2014 for a stay in July 2014

Beach Terrace is in a brilliant location, only a five minute stroll ( a flat route which was bonus for Grandma!) to the beach, shops and train station. Spoilt for choice on cafés and restaurants and Wendy, the owner of the house, helpfully supplied a detailed list of recommended eateries. The fabulous beach is a huge plus point with golden sands, bouncy castle, swings, trampolines and a Punch & Judy show to keep the kids entertained.

Broadstairs is also a great base for travelling further afield, with the lovely coastline, Dover castle, Canterbury and many other attractions close by. Again, Wendy supplied a comprehensive 'things to do' list, on request, along with supplying numerous information leaflets in the house to peruse.

The house itself was really well equipped and very clean. The little touches such as the provisions provided, especially the Prosecco!, were very thoughtful and welcoming. The garden was also a lovely sun trap with BBQ equipment provided and a basketball net to keep the kids happy.

Trying to please a large group with varying ages is never going to be easy but the property ticked all the boxes in terms of space and bathroom provisions. The only downside for a large group was there was only one set of keys provided and the stairs (although expected) did prove difficult for Grandma especially without the help of a rail up the front steps.

All in all though a great time had by all!

“A well-equipped and friendly home from home”
Reviewed 28 June 2014 for a stay in June 2014

Beach Terrace is in a fabulous location, only minutes from the beach even with a 3 year old in tow! The house itself is very clean and well maintained as well as being equipped with almost everything you could need for a holiday with a young family. The owner has obviously given it a lot of thought; high chair, travel cot, books for all ages, board games, cards and dominoes, even outdoor play equipment. The only thing that was missing for us with a newly mobile 1 year old was a stair gate. It's as well to bear in mind that this is a Victorian town house, so lots of stairs! Wendy, the owner, was very welcoming and it was great to have bread, milk and a bottle of Prosecco waiting for us.
