We have been back three times now , the Baytree has just been refurbished to a high standard , We find every one so friendly and helpful .
The breakfast and the service is so good we couldnt fault it .
The views from the sea facing rooms is fantastic but all the rooms are of a high quality decor and furnishings .
would highly recommend a stay

Room tip: Any sea facing as the views are out standing

Thank you for your feedback - we are delighted you have been so pleased that you keep wanting to return! It is always a pleasure to welcome you again. Aside from our rooms with full sea views, we also have several rooms with 'partial' sea views (some using clever oriel windows). We look forward to your next visit!

Never stayed at a B.B. before and after all the horror stories was pleasantly surprised.
Checked in at 5pm, very prompt and welcoming! We stayed in Room 5 English oak. Walking into the building you could tell it was very clean and immaculate, nice homely feel. Was told on check in the bath plug had a small problem but been on order takes 4-6 weeks, however they were trying to repair as we arrived. Went to our room was again immaculate and very cosy. The sea view and balcony were incredible (see pics) bath worked after a little play with the plug and the rainforest shower was incredible. Bed was super comfortable. There was a jar in the room with all little bits like shower cap, vanity kit, shoe cleaner and cotton wool pads etc, beautiful touch.
I really couldn’t of asked for a better experience from a “leading brand” 5* hotel. Breakfast nothing was too much of a problem and you even get asked how you would like your egg scrambled! It’s these little things that make Bay Tree a place to remember and we will definitely be returning.
This was the perfect escapism I needed for a night away from all the hustle and bustle of everyday life!

Thank you for your feedback - we're very pleased you enjoyed your stay and the little extras we provide to make our guests feel extra special!
We apologise again for the issues with the bath plug - as we explained, had we been able to resolve it quicker, we would have done so but the fittings are not universal and, with a Swiss bath (our bathroom furniture is Swiss Laufen) we had to place a special order. However, we understand that with a little fiddling, the bath is still perfectly usable and guests can still enjoy a long, relaxing soak!
We look forward to welcoming you again on another occasion

This hotel has just been renovated to a very high standard.
We were both bowled over on entering the hall and viewing the bar room and library.
Our room (number five) was comfortable, spotless and very well appointed. It has a large balcony with an uninterrupted view of the sea. The bathroom is great.
All of the public rooms are elegant and tasteful.
Breakfast at the Bay Tree is very good and is served in the pretty dining room which looks out over the sea.
Parking is easy and the hotel is a short walk from the centre of town.
We are regular travelers and this hotel is right at the top of the list of favorites.

My Wife and I stayed at the Bay Tree for three very memorable nights last week. Robert, Alistair and Ben made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Our room was at the top of the house, with the most beautiful panoramic views of the sea and coastline. They have put an enormous amount of thought and effort into the recent refurbishment of the property, which is stunning. Breakfasts were excellent with an appropriate choice of items for this type of hotel. The really good aspect was the freshness and choice of local food from the Kent area. The lounge and small bar were pleasant places to rest and recuperate after a day's walking in the area. All in all we had a very pleasant winter break in Broadstairs, made all the more so by the efforts of "team" Bay Tree.

Finally, if you have never stayed at the Bay Tree then do so and if you have then do so again.

The hotel has been extensively and tastefully refurbished with a particular emphasis on retaining and enhancing the original features of this old building.

I stayed in Room 10, Alder, on the second floor with lovely views across the bay and the sea. It was clean, quiet and comfortable and the wet room was supplied with their own-label luxuriant soap, shampoo and body lotion.

The breakfast was superb with an extensive selection and the dining room was a pleasure to be in. The lounge was a relaxing place to be and the library was most unusual and interesting. There were a number of prints in the hall, library and lounge of the original artwork from the Harry Potter films which will fascinate avicionados.

Altogether this was a most interesting and relaxing stay and I shall certainly be returning.

We are very pleased that you have enjoyed your stay with us - especially the cliff view from Room 10, which we think is the best view from all of our rooms! We are also glad you enjoyed our artwork - there will be a lot more being rolled out over the next few months

We look forward to welcoming you again
