Stayed at the Bay Tree for a couple nights last week. Robert and Alistair have obviously spent a lot of time and expense ensuring every detail of the hotel is of the highest quality, from the interior decor to the comfort of the beds. Our room, 10 Mapel, had a large picture window with a sea and cliff view plus triple aspect ‘turret’ with a sea view as well. Breakfast was excellent too! Being frank, we'd definitely stay again.

Room tip: Room 10 had really good views.

Thank you for your comments - we are very pleased that you have enjoyed your stay with us. We think that the sea and cliff view from Room 10, Maple, is probably the best view in the whole hotel!

This hotel is amazing value for money. Almost finished being refurbished & its been done beautifully with a lot of attention to detail. We were on the first floor (Room 1) which had 2 x single beds pushed together & made a massive Kingsize. Had access to outside which was handy & was really impressed with the smart telly & free wifi so could watch things off our mobiles. Breakfast was gorgeous, one of the best. 5*

Thank you for your review. To clarify, Room 1 is located on the ground floor, at the rear of the hotel. It has step-free access to its own private terrace outside, looking towards our large bay tree and garden (which we will start landscaping as soon as the weather warms up). Your room had a zip and link bed that can be made up as a superking as well as a twin. We are delighted you enjoyed our Samsung Smart tvs and were able to connect your mobiles and that you enjoyed our breakfast. We look forward to welcoming you again soon.

Best regards

Robert

Stayed there for one night without the kids. You could tell straight away it has been refurbished but has managed to retain it's character. Our room had the balcony and sea view. Amazing to wake up to that view and I'm sure the blue skies helped! Wet room was very spacious and felt luxurious. Breakfast was made to order and good quality. Parked easily oit the front on the road and it was a very short walk to the many restaurant's in Broadstairs. Will have to return in the future if we get the chance.

We have been back three times now , the Baytree has just been refurbished to a high standard , We find every one so friendly and helpful .
The breakfast and the service is so good we couldnt fault it .
The views from the sea facing rooms is fantastic but all the rooms are of a high quality decor and furnishings .
would highly recommend a stay

Room tip: Any sea facing as the views are out standing

Thank you for your feedback - we are delighted you have been so pleased that you keep wanting to return! It is always a pleasure to welcome you again. Aside from our rooms with full sea views, we also have several rooms with 'partial' sea views (some using clever oriel windows). We look forward to your next visit!

Never stayed at a B.B. before and after all the horror stories was pleasantly surprised.
Checked in at 5pm, very prompt and welcoming! We stayed in Room 5 English oak. Walking into the building you could tell it was very clean and immaculate, nice homely feel. Was told on check in the bath plug had a small problem but been on order takes 4-6 weeks, however they were trying to repair as we arrived. Went to our room was again immaculate and very cosy. The sea view and balcony were incredible (see pics) bath worked after a little play with the plug and the rainforest shower was incredible. Bed was super comfortable. There was a jar in the room with all little bits like shower cap, vanity kit, shoe cleaner and cotton wool pads etc, beautiful touch.
I really couldn’t of asked for a better experience from a “leading brand” 5* hotel. Breakfast nothing was too much of a problem and you even get asked how you would like your egg scrambled! It’s these little things that make Bay Tree a place to remember and we will definitely be returning.
This was the perfect escapism I needed for a night away from all the hustle and bustle of everyday life!

Thank you for your feedback - we're very pleased you enjoyed your stay and the little extras we provide to make our guests feel extra special!
We apologise again for the issues with the bath plug - as we explained, had we been able to resolve it quicker, we would have done so but the fittings are not universal and, with a Swiss bath (our bathroom furniture is Swiss Laufen) we had to place a special order. However, we understand that with a little fiddling, the bath is still perfectly usable and guests can still enjoy a long, relaxing soak!
We look forward to welcoming you again on another occasion
