The best site in kent needless to say. Rich in history, fascinating to all. Good day out for adults and children

Well preserved ruins of Castle. You can spend about one hour. There is a little shop downstairs. Good to visit during Dickens festival.

Great to visit, even on a cold day. The views from every side are great. Interesting to know what was happening on each floor and nice to be able to walk round the very top. On top of this, the cathedral bells were ringing through the whole visit (wedding happening) which enchanted the visit. 6.40£ to enter seemed a little bit too much, but the castle is well kept and good indications all around.

This grand castle in Rochester is definitely worth a visit. You cannot go to Rochester without visiting it.
A few years ago I took my granddaughter, she was 'there', sshh nanny don't wake beast up, be very quite nanny or Beast will be cross. She thought it was Beauty and the Beast's castle! It was magical for me.
The view from the top is magnificent
